I need a phone full of innovations, therefor, the system is the last thing in a phone, for me. Yes, is important, but is the last thing. Ok, leaving aside the fact that that i love symbian, this camera is not supported by any other mobile system on the market. This shows clear that symbian is still the badas* system that can defeat everything that surrounds it. BUT... lack of commitment and interest, force this system to die. Ok, the piracy is to heavy for a system that is abandoned. We should sustain it more because is the only system worth to fight for. You will se android supporting this kind of hardware in 4 years, when symbian could do waaay better...

LOL!! Wake up man. You don't know what you are saying!
This phone has 184 ppi resolution.
Sqrt[(360)^2+(640)^2]/4 = 183.57, say 184 ppi.
Now,, about the too long but useless comment whom you just wasted your time posting, who do you think would believe you?

I wish this phone Had a Different OS :( maybe even a windows OS anything other than Symbian! :( i Would love to See this camera on a lumnia !

I also dont know why 808 price does not go down, as I am also waiting which drives me crazy as well. Cant wait any longer. If it goes down like any other Nokia new models, 808 should be around 480 USD by now.

well after reading the reviews and all I think it's a very good camera phone. An ugly but good cameraphone. What I can't stop thinking about it's its durability. It has a single core 1,3GHz cpu and a gpu that I don't know so I won't comment on it but it makes me think that you either take only 8MP photos with it thus voiding the purchase of a unique therefore expensive 41MP cameraphone or you use the 38MP all the time and you shorten the cpu's life just like gaming in a non-gaming computer. If it had a dual core cpu and double the ram I'd be convinced.. With such specs... And even the screen has only 136ppi... Revamp, update or upgrade it and I'll be convinced for sure.

i like the nokia 808 pureview but i believe nokia needs to build an all round device. Imagine have that great camera on a quad core Processor supporting flash within the browser. greater integration of facebook twitter and other networking sites. better screen res, a larger screen something like 4.5, 4.8inches better graphics.just something that all can relate too and use from business workers to tech lovers like myself. i've used the nokia N8 and i only used it to play music watch videos an record videos. it lagged at times and i just think the pureview would have had more to offer. but hope to see more improvements as nokia continues to produce great phones

As a developer I must say that android has a terrible task manager. Nokia has a simple but better task administrator, I think that Symbian only has to enhance the User Interface. Getting Android as OS will be like a monopoly of OS, there must be options, I don't like Apple, I don't like Android either, Symbian does what I need. Nokia rocks already!!

Nokia made 808 for like just for me coz i dont want much apps and my daily tasks are calling,texting,photography...All i want has in 808....thats y its just for me..but have to wait until price reduce :(:(
waiting is driving me crazy.....
