yeah right try to zoom on the pics using ur iphone and galaxy3 and youll get a crappy pixelated pics btw we prefer all in 1 . go buy a digicam and iphone and paste them together that will be much better if that what u prefer. the thing you cant see it is you lack innovation LOL

I don`t see what are the benefits of 41 mp camera in phone when the 41 mp are not real if you compare it to the iphone 4s and galaxy s3 which have 8 mp so is the original size of nokia and you get same image quality but the price is the same with all 3 the only difference is you get a lot less on nokia because of software limitation. The resonable price will be between 300 400 euros or dollars. If i want to take quality pictures i will buy a digital camera with price range of half of what nokia is and will get really better quality.

Has anyone tried the themes available on the n8 on this phone? I have been using this theme Invisible - simple, thanks to which I dont have to bother about the purple tint on my N8. I heard there is purple tint issue with the pureview as well. This black theme uses black but there is no purple tint. Nokia, please look into the purple tint problem.

I already gave them the warranty details but maybe they do not have the necessary knowledge for their new phone. Now I will go in about every forum to share this experience. Nokia Singapore's customer service is damn slow and unassuring. IF YOU DONT WANT A MOBILE PHONE THAT FAILS TO DELIVER, DONT TAKE A NOKIA!

My Nokia 808 suddenly didnt turn on after 1 month. I emailed nokia but their reply is very slow. I already gave them the warranty details but maybe they do not have the necessary knowledge for their new phone. Now I will go in about every forum to share this experience. Nokia Singapore's customer service is damn slow and unassuring. IF YOU DONT WANT A MOBILE PHONE THAT FAILS TO DELIVER, DONT TAKE A NOKIA!

The camera package uses Toshiba HES9 CMOS image sensor. It is composed of 8-5mp sensors, BCM2763 processor and carl zeiss lens package.
However, Nokia together with blackberry , as far as I know, is in hot water over the image sensors that caltech claims that it is their technology that they import. Please check on this if you have time.
The whole 41mp package, I think, is the one that Nokia patented. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You mean a maker like nokia can patent a specific camera sensor & other makers can not use it? Mind you, nokia uses 8mp & 12mp sensors (just to name few) on their phones & yet other makers do use the same too.
I would then believe that the PV technolgy is the one patented by nokia, not the sensor size.

Nokia is protected by this patent law. We all know about Apple suing nokia, samsung and many others because of patents. And Apple is also facing lawsuits from other parts of the world by these same companies.
The bottom line is business... Money... You do business, you make money.
We have to accept. Technology-wise, other manufacturers can. Business-wise, their hands are tied.
Nevertheless, I love both my SGS3 and N-808. But more on N-808. Cheers! (",)

hello everyone.:) i bought my pureview 2 weeks before from a nokia shop based in suburbs in mumbai.. First impression its so heavy then i give it a go its just coz of camera but its very good built bright screen just loved the camera.. Have the habit of taking pic anywhere to show off what my nokia can do be it day or night.. I an totally in love with this phone.. Few days later was checking reviews bout this phone which bought me to a notice of purple tint....i thought my phone doesnt have that issue.. Suprise suprise after reading how to check finally i can make out my phone suffered from this issue.. Even i compare with my old nokia n8...which seems to produce perfect colors unlike my pv...called up nokia they said its a hardware issue and need to take my phone to ncc...was lucky to jump in the shop when there is a head of branch who take care for whole mumbai ncc was there and acknowledge the issue and said will repair and give within a week.:-( still waiting for that masterpiece.. Dont care about androids coz they are a chunk and battery eaters which i hate them for..i still trust nokia and i believe it should get sorted out soon.. Will post the response once i get my pv back.:-).
