this is the best camera phone that will be there for maybe the next 5 years, now buying this would be a wise investment in technology :) and at last a deserving replacement for my N8.

Haven't you seen the comparisons? Nothing in the mobile world can even come close to 808's camera. If you would said that it's better than most of the top P&S cameras, it would have been an acceptable opinion...

Guys iam a pround owner of 808 PV white color..the fone is awesome...built quality is top...camera best in the world....the belle sofware is way faster and better than my N8...iam very happy with the fone...well today software update small update of 700kb...it said improvements...i love the dispaly sharp and crip...Nokia rocks...Now i own,808 PV,N8,galaxy Note and bb 9900...808 rocks..will keep u guys updated...

resolution is fixed to 38mp and rest is reserved for providing 4x lossless zoom.

You can't get a new Nokia N8 for less than $400, a second hand SE Satio is still around $200, so the price of this one is quite justified. Cameraphones hold their value better than others so they are worth spending a little more.

after nearly a weeks use I can only say.what a great phone.marvellous picture and the screen is excellent both indoors and especially outdoors.so no need to worry about that.

i announce proudly that the 808 with 3g open all day and camera used for stills and videos and whatsapp and skype running all day.. i go to bed with aroun 40% remaining from the battery
Amazing.. i used to charge my S2 twice daily with standard battery
