Nokia 808 is like no other mobile phone currently available on the market, soon to be released or one that has been available in the past when it comes to the image sensor and the optics used. There have been in the past many cases of phones including some Nokia ones that had cameras more advanced or of higher resolution than their competition. This time around Nokia chose to go extreme and use a 41 MP image sensor and at least in theory leave the competition as far behind as possible. In all honesty in most aspects of its operation and performance Nokia 808 is very different and better than most other smartphones in the photography department. Most of the time and especially when using the camera in the PureView mode Nokia 808 manages to take pictures far better than most if not all other mobile phones available on the market.

...oh, wait, I forgot that its screen resolution is only 360x640 and It wouldn't play a 720p video anyway. Silly me.

Build quality excellent and camera fantastic.
This phone arent compare with gs3
this is excellent camera.
Symbiyan not compare with ios and android phone.

Some members of the Nokia Conversations have shown images that show a purple tint on the AMOLED display of the brand new 808...
A similar problem occurred in the N8's release about 2 years ago.
Please purchase with caution and test it well. If not satisfied, post pics on the nokia conversations site and get it exchanged for a brand new 808...

I really wish more companies would make phones with a camera as good as nokia's 808 camera. I also wish they had decent prices,or at least have a decent camera and the same price since they're already hugely expensive.
Still nokia usually manages to overprice they're products a bit more than anyone else ,the 808 is probably not as good as a 200$ android phone. Considering the 808 costs more than 750$ I would say that is a lot of money to pay for a camera.

"It doesn't look good. This Galaxy S III apparently malfunctioned while in an in-car holster, causing some substantial melting and burn marks across the lower half of the device. The global HSPA+ iteration of Samsung's new flagship apparently sparked into white flames, followed by a bang. While it's certainly not the first smartphone to implode in transit, the damage -- along the base but separate to the charging port -- looks pretty substantial and although the screen still apparently worked, reception was dead. The phone has been whisked off to a repair center through phone retailer Carphone Warehouse for the full autopsy.
