when this phone was first introduced, there was excitement but the delay i think have made that excitement subsides. and add to the fact that it's symbian, no improvement on the screen and the phone is thick in today's standard.

Being a serious businessman and a phone enthusiast, I am very dependent on my phones.  There are four qualities that I require on my ideal phone. It has to be able to store a large number of contacts, around 6500 to be precise; while also being able to efficiently recognize and identify the contact name whenever I receive a call. Secondly, the phone must be able to tell me if my call is waiting when I am trying to call someone else. Other than that, I prefer that the SMS forwarding option is simple. Finally, the sound quality, especially when using headphones, should be good.
Within the past week, I have tested out three phones: HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy 3 and Nokia 808 PureView. My findings show that the Galaxy 3 cannot identify the callers' names nor shows calls that are waiting, and has moderate sound quality. The One X can identify the callers but doesn't show call waiting. However, the sound quality is superb. Furthermore, the aforementioned phones have inefficient methods when it comes to SMS forwarding. Lastly, the PureView seems to be able to do all the tasks very smoothly and quickly. Although the others have much better hardware specifications, the Nokia 808 wins when it comes to performance on communication purposes for businessmen like me. Of course I don't care too much about the apps, so given my needs, the Nokia 808 seems like the perfect phone.
I have decided to keep the Nokia 808 as my main phone, the HTC One X as a secondary one and to resell the Samsung Galaxy 3.

                        (obvious) Flaw:

                        Weak battery

That's a real shame Nokia can't think of putting a stronger battery into their device, especially because that camera consumes so much energy.

After several shots the battery is already drained!

                        That's an absolute no-go.

I think its time Nokia should appoint somenone who is symbian and Nokia fanatic as chief designer and planner. The customer can teach Nokia who to build a mobile phone. Come to think of it Nokia E72 with 2,4 inch low resolution screen, symbian 3 and 600 mhz processor comes with 1500 mAh battery. After 3 years Nokia pureview comes to market with HD movie recording, Belle, 4 inch screen, higher resolution double powered processor at 1,3 mhz. And what is the power source??? a mere 1400 mAh battery. What is Nokia doing with app world. Apple and Samsung are ruling the mobile world with the support of tons of apps. Its not bad to be Nokia fan but its worst to be blind and follow Nokia for lower capabilities. 41 mpx camera is definitely welcome but today we are living in world where a lot is being achieved through mobile gadgets. Nokia is far behind when it comes to software and apps needed for business and leisure.
