For those who think its bad to buy this because Nokia is dumping Symbian. This OS is supported till 2016. How many Androids are stuck at 2.2 Froyo or less? Lets face it if u want it FOR THE CAMERA BUY IT! Apps come and go, memories not! The are PC, laptops and tablets for serious apps anyway.

nokia 808 proof that symbian belle OS is keeping in par with the most advance Android and iOS. if Nokia could combined the right proportions of softwares + hardwares to users friendly models,its future looks twice brighter than the current restricted platform OS.

BCM2727 only suppor... moreThat is exactly what is written in the next link dhakkan. 2727 only supports upto 720p. but did you see 2763 also has limitation upto 20megapixel for photos so there must be something else also on this beast to process forty unbelievable one mega pixel image.

With such a Great Camera and Cam Recorder, I would have loved the Picture resolution increased to 800*1280 pixel same as Samsung Galaxy Note.

[deleted post]Nokia didn't under-clock it. It supports up to 1 Giga pixels of graphical data but it's memory is 128 Mega Bytes. There is a difference between memory and pixels. And Nokia is using it to it's full potential.

hi guyz .i got this huge machine and its a elder brother of n8.video quality is realy realy superb... but still image is not imprassive and similar to n8.. Speed , screen size and sound is fantastic...good phone thanks ....fkmk milan

Having a 808 in pocket means u have both a smartphone and a very good digital camera. And it will be very handy and portable. So, 808 is a better choice.
