AnonD-51869, 12 May 2012i personally feel d drive is the true ram coz when i opened... morefor those who are talking about phone ram, let me clear up things for you guys.
c: is the phone memory. the built in.
e: usually this is the memory card or sometimes the mass storage (in the case of n97)
f: this is the memory card (in n97 also since it features both a mass memory and a memory card)
d: the ram. this is just the free ram. note that in the phone specification 512mb was the ram. that was the total ram. during startup the phone uses ram to run critial applications (system apps). the ram that is left is used by other apps (the ones you see in the task manager) including the camera and gallery and is sometimes called working ram. so if you are experiencing fluctuation of values in your d: in xplore, that is normal, since ram usage fluctuates depending on the running apps and its usage (ie. opera mini with 20 tabs opened up showing only images can deplete my n97 working ram). also as stated by others the ram is a volatile storage medium. all of its content is cleared up after you turn off your device so anything that is stored there (ie. unsaved changes) will be lost forever if the device is turned off,
just my two cents.

Pointlessly high pixel count when it's guaranteed not to have the optics to use it, relatively low resolution screen and the Belle OS has nothing going for it because these days Apps are everything and this has almost none, i mean if they put WP7 in at least the phone would have some novelty value with the camera, i mean WP7 isn't the best choice but has enough to make it a valid choice for such a comically high resolution camera.

Anonymous, 12 May 2012C: is the phone memory and D: is the ram, don't be confused... morenot at all am not confused. but now mobiles are being sold out telling c(which can be called ram coz we can acces it but not the actual one which is d)
u can see on 808 specs its 512 and thats phone mem.
u can see early pages people are talking about the other phone which is having 1gb and thinking that nokia is slow coz of that
and my n8 has 128mb of ram which is d( cant tell accurately as i said earlier free space and total space always remains same i.e 103/103 and some other time 119/119

But really, why won't you use it anymore? It is a very good Android phone. Use both the S2 and the PureView together! Have the S2 as your secondary phone. :)

"In pressure from European customers, Nokia’s board pressured CEO Steven Elop to back down and commit to further development in Belle. The company now has charted out Belle devices for at least the next three years. Belle platform development is also being spearheaded by software consulting giant Accenture"
