AnonD-54163, 10 May 2012Nokia Used to be the best man, but now there are gone, look... moreTo me its not about the hardware specs or power and app support. Its about the phones efficiency to do the everyday or social needs of the user and its features and satisfaction that the phone will provide to them. The camera is one of 808's features. have you seen the 808's captured photos? have you seen the details even when zoomed in? if not, something's wrong with your eyes :D. and if you think this phone sucks then don't buy it, no one's forcing you to buy this phone.

Someday your favorite brands will imitate Nokia's PureView tech or its 41MP camera. And most people will laugh at you or those people that posted such things like "This phone's camera is crap compared to my whatever brand's whatever MP camera"

AnonD-51869, 10 May 2012hey guys why all are speaking about ram ,there is a definat... morewrong... Ram is what is stated below. You installed apps that are running on the background thus using RAM. It uses the RAM so it can function without any slowdowns or use Symbian related APIs faster since it ready to be read since its stored in the RAM.

Example, you bought(install) a set of books (books 1-10). You keep the table of contents and store it on your side table(RAM) while the rest of the books are stored in your bookshelf(internal Memory/MMC). In order for you to search or read what you want youll check the table of contents which is stored on the side table(RAM).

WHen you go out someone will clean your room (phone shutdowns and clears RAM). When you get back you put the table of contents back to the side table everytime.

simple analogy that i hope will help poeple understand RAM... Random Access Memory

hey guys why all are speaking about ram ,there is a definate confusion. the ram in nokia is only for storage purpose not like the ram in computer which shows somtime 30percent and some time 50 percent .
the ram in nokia stores a part of each app you install .
i have 126 third party apps in my phone(n8) still it has 86 mb left. and in nokia till the last byte of memory remain it wont slow down

Nokia says that there is no need for dual cores or quad cores processors in mobiles, then sum1 shud ask them who the hell wants 41MP cam phones...i hv an 8mp cam phone nd it gives fine qualities of pics nd videos,..this phone is total waste....its better that nokia shud start producing good Android phones with good processors nd a decent camera....unlike these 41mp phone which sounds like a china mobile..lol

                    wow awsome mobile
and i heard a lot about processor i dont feel a need of quad core coz its simply like hiring a rocket to go to college i prefer my bike .
as u all know n8 too can handle the belle .
love the clear black display and the lower resolution will save much more of my battery as i always transfer my pics and videos to my pc it has much more resolution than iphone.
usb on the go is really amazing feature it can connect card reader, external 1tb hard drive etc
belle has six home screen u can put favourite apps on home screen and custom background on all six whereas all the unused apps can be kept in menu
some people think this is having the same s60 3rd edition os as nokia 5233 has ,but no dear its brand new belle, looking forward for this piece as my primary device thumbs up to nokia

AnonD-50757, 10 May 2012ROM = Read-Only Memory. ROM in a phon acts like the program... moreRAM = Random Access Memory. This type of memory is "short term" meaning when you turn the power off everything in it is gone. This type of memory is incredibly fast when it comes to moving data around. When you load a program from your hard drive or CD it "executes" in RAM. When you close the program the RAM is typically free'd up to be used again. This is often confused with the type of memory that your Hard drive servers as, which is long term memory. When you power off your computer the data on a hard drive remains. Compared to RAM the data manipulation speed of a hard drive is a very small fraction of its speed.

ROM = Read Only Memory. This type of memory is Read Only. Typically a ROM in a computer is a single chip (however, multiple components can have their own ROM chips like a video card, a hard drive controller and the main motherboard in your computer). ROM memory typically stores the "Firmware" (otherwise known as the BIOS) which is NOT hardware and is NOT software, but sits in the middle. When I say in the "middle" I literally mean that. Any program (such as Microsoft Windows XP) has to go through a ROM routine (i.e. software instructions of how to access a piece of hardware)in order to use a device driver to access a hardware device, such as a hard drive or USB key or even write data to a video card. ROM memory is NOT lost when the computer is turned off.
