Everything else on the Nokia 808 is excellently fine BUT the only problem I have is the kind of body casing this phone is made of. It's made of cheap plastic most probably! Please my dear Nokia factory guys, please make a better body casing for this phone! I'll surely buy all colors of it if it's made of a hard carbon polymer or titanium or aluminum!

Anyway, This will be a nice replacement for N8, hope it comes out soon!

You want to know my top app? (Every Symbian phone I and my family have has this):
                      http://spb.com/symbian-software/shell/
SPB Shell 3D. Its UI is way better than
Expensive, but VERY WELL WORTH the cost.

Pre-ordered from Nokia Store. Actually, it was more of a "reservation". But still, I am assured I can buy a unit the moment it gets released. Just waiting for their call.

Here in the Philippines, downloading apps directly to the PC, then transferring them to the phone can be cheaper than downloading them directly to the phone. The cheapest (but already expensive) internet services here that people use for WiFi tend to have an INTERMITTENT AND SLOW connection. Try downloading a 20MB game on your phone with an intermittent/slow connection.

Why not post a few 'dev sites' that you know to help fellow Nokians that there are indeed more apps out there rather than the Nokia Store.

zymesh, 10 Apr 2012why you condoning to piracy? if you dont support the develo... moreYour comment is actually very funny. I did not say that I am condoning to piracy.

FYI... I PAY for premium apps. Well, those that I like and find very useful. I just prefer to get them from the manufacturers' websites so that I can download them to the PC so I'll have a copy of those apps' installers. Your choice if you want to use pirated ones. And wow, you are blaming one person for the lack of Symbian apps? Another info for you. Symbian is NOT lacking apps. Do a Google search and see for yourself how many new apps are available.

Besides, I prefer to use search engines to look for apps and their manufacturer because I like to keep a copy of the app's installer, and that I prefer to use a larger screen with an extremely easy-to-use UI and the best forms of tabbed browsing. Another thing is that a manufacturer's website contains more technical and support information than ANY app market for mobile phones. I browse and search faster and more effectively in front of the PC than in front of any mobile phone. Biggest factor is the screen size (websites look better on a 22" display, you know?)

One last thing... why only me? Why don't you go to the sites where you can download pirated apps, and FLAME THERE. WTF MAN!

Optical zoom will require more light at higher zoom levels, because the lens aperture (opening that allows light to reach the sensor) gets smaller. While lossless zoom will only require the same amount of light when shooting without zoom. This is more practical especially in low-light situations.

let's just get to the point. im a Symbian fan, but i like the Android too. I like symbian better because it's mixed up with business-entertainment-travel around the world OS features, apps, etc. while Android is packed with apps that can also provide near excellent entertaining and gaming experience. I have to respect android, but my heart will always be for Symbian. Say "Hi" to Symbian Carla for me.. too bad I can't get an upgrade to Carla for my C7. :(

Adeesha, 10 Apr 2012NOKIA can you change the design as N9 and display as HD display?Lol... No way that's going to happen. :)

That's okay. You may not like it now, but when you'll own it, eventually you'll get used to it and then like it.

Actually, this is the (unofficial) trademark design of Nokia. This is the form design that Nokia used years before. It is nostalgic actually, to those who were used to the designs of the old Nokia phones.

HD display will only ruin compatibility with a lot of apps, especially those written for nHD resolution.
