give it a decent processor and MeeGo and i will replace my N9 immediately. ARM11 is not an option, fair enough that this phone can record 1080p video but a so slow processor cant do serious webbrowsing (and many other apps will suffer badly as well), it will be like a faster N8 only, and thats not nearly fast enough. Not only is Arm11 slow in processing but they also have terrible memory bandwidth, clocking them up will just increase the number of wasted clockpulses while waiting for data from memory.

Still i cannot believe this specs, how is that possible to capture a full HD 1080P video with just 1.3GHz ARM 11 process???
if is it true than shame on android and iOS. they need to run full two core to record 1080P.

can any one explain this theory.

Well, i don't think nokia will beat the market even if it has 41MP....Android OS will be the next future and i don't think Symbian will be good comparing to Android or IOS

each pic from nokia 808 is of 10 mb which makes it to take long time to process the image even though it has a 1.3 Ghz processor you can't take continuous pic because of image size in short it's main disadvantage is that it's camera is too advanced for the hardware and it's operating system hangs some time it's my own experience after seeing it at the MWC exhibition and at the company lab if you don't believe me just try it when it's released

They advertise a 41 MP sensor and actually pair it with a 4 inch screen that sports a mere 360x640 pixel resolution?

                      Whats wrong with Nokia?

when i had moved onto android 2 years ago with a galaxy s.i never ever dreamed of buying a symbian again.but this one is it.i will be buying it and keeping it for long coz competition will take years to bring a camera like this.

At last a replacement for the old N82\N95, they where at the top at there time because they had everything nothing missing in there specs and I think I can say the same about this phone 808 pureview. 4inch screen, Xenon flash and led light,"41mp CAMERA", HDMI,FM transmitter and the list goes on. the only thing and this could be a big thing for me is the lack of Android\windows7 or even iOS (I know that apple only) these OS's I know how to use and like to some extent, lets hope this new version of Symbian OS does not disappoint. Come on Nokia time to be on top again. last Nokia I owned was the N82 and loved it still takes better photos than any of my androids mostly because of the Xenon flash.
p.s hope that Symbian has come a long way since the expressmusic 5800\n97

Overall,I like this phone. I have no doubt about the camera capability. It's also great to have FM radio, transmitter, USB on the go, microsd card expansion, HDMI, Dolby etc.

But,I would also like to see smooth skype video calling (as in I-phone).Having a fast and convenient browser is also equally important for me.
