Nokia Weather App is officially discontinued for Symbian today. It doesn't work anymore on my Nokia 808 PureView. In coming days, expect Nokia to officially discontinue other services like Nokia Maps for Symbian. I'm really upset about this and for this cheating, saying Nokia will support "Symbian until 2016" is just another lie. Sorry, Nokia but Nokia 808 PureView will be my last Nokia phone.

how can i transfer in nokia 808 my phone book and calender entries from android 2.3phone? i have recently purchased this phone.i have updated software but not able to open microsoft apps.
i m so disturbed that i want to throw this phone

Hi guys...I have a big and horrible problem with my 808!!!I need emergency some help to solve it!...some times when I wana make a call,this massage appears in display:NOT ALLOWED...when this happens,i can send and receive text massage and all other works with my phone,but i can't make or receive a call!!..i reset my phone completely several times but it's not effective!...i turned offline mode on and turned it off again,but it dose not work too!!...i updated my phone to features pack 2,but problem didn't solve and is still alive!!...the only way to solve problem temporary is restarting of phone!!but i cant do it every one hour or day!!!...I'm in a deep shit with this prob!! I realy need help!...pleeeaaassseee!

Even if u can't access other than lock screen ( in case ur device is password protected ), just perform a deadflash ( ALL DATA'S IN PHONE MEMORY WILL BE LOST ). That should help.

I've tried on 3G and wifi(wifi works by proxy) and I get the same error in both cases.

Also when I tried the 808 it was perfect for one hand, such a great shape. I could drop an iPhone 50 times before dropping the 808 once, I can twist and flip it in my hand and it doesn't feel like it is going to fall. Man I want this phone some day. :-)
And one-handed use is very important, what when I'm holding a dog leash, umbrella, shopping bag, drink, cigarette... I can read all the news while drinking my morning coffee for example, no need to put anything down. Take photos too. :-)

I find the WP OS quite stable and smooth but disappointed after using it for some time. It lacks many features that Symbian offers. Weak system for me too. I think I will buy a Nokia N8 and a Nokia N73 next. Thank you, friend.

MdN8, 13 Dec 20134 inches is enough for one-handed use, also it has the best... moreYa that's perfect as u said.. Also think abt N9 how it was designed and designers said reason for going with 3.9 inch display too.. One-handed use matters a lot in many situations..

As for resolution, it's less important than you might think.

Also, 808 sensor is better then the one from lumia. You can really do allot of things with it even though it lacks the great software 1020 has... At least, this is my 2 cent opinion after using windows. Weak system for me.

Bla bla bla ., it has a 41 megapixel camera and belle symbian and i can download lots of apps ., stupidness of buying and wasting your money because what about the screen size it has the smallest display of all touch mobile phones
