This is fantastic, since most of the pople even on cameras have 14-18MP cameras, so have it on the phone, the best MP sensor camera in the world, I think it is AWESOME! Good luch with your great 8MP camera on your Samsung plastic crap that has a battery life with normal use for 4-6 hours! Great way to have android on your phone. By the way, I tried Ice Cream sandwich DROID and it is really a step back from Gingerbread, so good luck with that ice cream! :)

it looks so much like the samsung galaxy nexus from the front. except the back nothing new. sad part for Nokia whose designs i was mad for. Lumia 800 was a masrterpiece.

I am happy with this phone photo camera but got concern about display quality. Below I compare Nokia 808 PureView and Nokia N8:

Belle runs perfectly smooth on N8 which is 680mhz, i cannot imagine how quick will it be on 1.3ghz.
I saw samples, camera is superb. I just don't like the size of the phone, it's not too bog but I have small fingers... But I will buy it anyway :)

No lens cover ...what a shame Nokia. The camera back portion is highly elevated which off-course scratch and leave gripping trail on camera lens. This highly degrade image quality. Again they chosen Belle OS which is not a good match...Nokia is not walking infact running towards the end. I think some personal in nokia is intentionally doing such blunders.

The 1.3 GHz processor is more than enough to run Sybmain; and just to prove it, find another phone with an ARM11 processor, which runs Android, that can record 1080p HD at 30 fps.
You won't find an ARM11 Android device as powerful, as Android is extremely 'power-hungry' - whereas Symbian is not. With that said, the processor and graphics card in this 'beast' is more than what is required. Even though it sounds cliché, I repeat, it is more than enough to power this phone. :)

Just awesome phone.. I was searching for... And its symbian.. Means free softwares, hacks, even free internet..due to java support..for handlers...!

nokia can retain its number one position of past if they introduce android os. These 41mp camera and other configuration are not sufficient for nokia.
