Carol, 05 Sep 2013Hey, am here in a very disappointed version... very sad day... moresad days indeed, although it's imposible to predict the future, Nokia seems to go in the direction fallowed by other great European big names and I don't really know why they have this fate...Siemens, Bosch, Alcatel, Ericsson, Philips. Maybe the name will still exist but I would never buy(even if I had the money:)) a jaguar, Volvo with their current owners, even if they are only lifeless products they ment something more than just simple letters arranged in some order, which is what Nokia sadly will be...sad

AnonD-91246, 09 Sep 2013ok bro...i have one more question...is there any way to red... moreYes there is
1- Exposure: try to low it to be -1.0 to -1.7 depends on the view you want (for direct sun light)
2- Open the ND Filter (great tip for bright sun light)
3- Use ISO 50-100 depends on the scene
don't try to us the 3 tips at one time...the photo will be less exposed and getting silly dark, but tune as much as you need.
any way 808 Pureview has a highlights issue as dp review site mentioned on the auto mode due to the big F/ stop 2.4...but by what I mentioned you will get the perfect results...Peace :P

AnonD-91246, 09 Sep 2013ok bro...i have one more question...is there any way to red... moreIs there a way to change exposure mode to 'center' on 808? That is what I do on N8 with CameraPro so the light is adjusted to the subject.

I mean the light in the background overtakes our subject. And subject never comes as clear as it should come.

AnonD-91246, 08 Sep 2013no brother, i think you didn't get me on this question?
I... moreYes I know what you meant and I replied you by (no, touch focus is the only way) and I may agree that this delay is a little bit obvious specially in zoomed scenes...don't forget that we don't have manuel focus.
(((The real reason of this delay, Very important)))
when you change the focus point to a new one the camera lenses start to move over the full focal length again which is (8.02mm) till it get the right focus on the new point, So the blur is big as much as time cause you don't control individual invisible (mm) like a DSLR or Lumia 1020...any way I do believe that you can do great job even with this small bug, just don't think of it and use the tip I wrote before to avoid such bug in all the scenes without zooming.

Its nothing to do with the automatic mode or close up mode.
My question is about the time which this camera take while changing the focus area. It shouldn't be that late. It should be quick. But may be this is not a high end DSLR , 808 may not have this feature.

If you want to use the auto focus, you can use it most of normal situations and it will work, but if you will shoot a macro video,
press 2 seconds on the view finder and choose close up mode that will be better, cause the normal auto focus can't detect the close up modes...hope that helps :)

while shooting a video, when we change the focus to other area, it takes some time. Is there any way or settings as such which will help us to take less time while change the focus ?

Aadrian, 07 Sep 2013I like to use WP8 but I like Nokia more. In fact, because w... moreAgreed. I had, and I will have, many great times with my 3 Nokia phones, and if I had a WP it would just keep reminding me of what happened to Nokia. WP was promising, though not really for me, but Nokia was doing everything they could and Microsoft was slow with the updates and new features. Now the Nokia guys will have to listen to MS and I don't think MS will listen to Nokia guys screaming "come on, hurry up with the software, people are waiting and we've made 5 new phones before you added the volume control". So, new phones will be MS inside and outside, and the Nokia guys just personnel. MS has 98000 workers, and they got 30000 Nokia people. And they mentioned that they have to cut costs, I wonder who will have to go... The only memory of "real" Nokia now will be Asha, because I don't think MS will put their fingers in it. They say they want to "connect the next billion". But it will probably be very low-end because it can't compete with the cheapest Lumia.

I like to use WP8 but I like Nokia more. In fact, because what Microsoft did, I will think twice before buying another WP phone again. It killed Nokia.
Google bought Motorola entirely, Motorola still produces phones. Microsoft had better done that with Nokia as well if they really wanted too. Now it's like cutting Nokia in two. Devices will disappear but Nokia will still exists, only not what we, the fans of Nokia phones, are used to see from Nokia.
