Nokia 808 Pureview has ND filter beside ISO 50 level, that's can fight the highlights unlike Lumia 1020 which lacks those 2 features so it only using the Exposure compensation to control the light situations
but the Lumia 1020 has big F/2.2 and that's mean a lot of light incoming possibilities...that's the reason friend
I asked Juha Alakarhu at Twitter about If they can add ISO 50 option to Lumia 1020, he told me : I Don't think so
I knew The reason is two words: WINDOWS PHONE!
Long live Symbian !!!

usefull links indeed, i want to add also something_to pay attention_i noticed in many many many fotos between 808 and 1020. First: look carefully the sky but mostly the clouds where are presents. In 808 they look natural, in 1020 the sky is so distorted that the clouds are almost vanished. Its something like to to have the same foto with and without clouds.
Second: (In my opinion) very very important thing when you are calling to pay a lot of money to get a flagship: Reading a review about 1020 i noticed issues about "heating", battery life and earpierce loudness. In 808 sound quality, loudnass, life battery are in very good level.

this is far better than android phones,it dose not suck data , long battery life and no heating issues

I'm gonna buy this pureview next month. Before that I want to know about the pixels in the screen, can it be seen through naked eyes please let me know. I like everything in this.:-)

... more Both 1020 and 808 are top notch picture and camera. Prefer 808s less sharpened and natural (PURE) colors for video and pictures. It's a side step to get a 1020 over 808 for imaging, not an improvement.
If you consider long term support, updates, and overall usability it may be a different matter. Consider what features are important to you as you do lose a few on the 1020: SD card or removable battery for example.
I'll probably keep my 808 and get an 1020 eventually.

I have a White 808 US model I flashed to Belle Delight 1.1v--- absolutely amazing work. They Delight team are very helpful and even have a step by step "how to flash" on their site. My 808 is very smooth and extremely stable. I also gained WiFi hotspot by flashing which was blocked on the original firmware. They also include custom tools.
