Totally agree with you there -I owned a Nokia N95 up until last week (when I jumped in the sea with it in my pocket whilst messing around on my speed boat!) In some ways I miss it, but it was just a toy. I'd be the first to admit I'm a fone-geek, but I, and two other friends, just weren't making use of the features. I've now come to the conclusion (after maybe 10 handsets in the last 18 months) that as long is it does the basics well and the build quality is there (perhaps throw in a bit of exclusivity), you're on to a winner. I do miss wifi but then again I only ever used to play on that in bed, right after I'd just turned my desktop off because I couldn't be bothered to sit at my chair any longer! My 8600 should be arriving in the post today & I can't wait -perhaps now I'll be able to go straight to sleep after I switch my PC off at night?!!

I've had the phone for 2 days now- its absolutely PERFECT! Great build quality, excellent screen/buttons/feel, incredibly elegant- I cant imagine why anyone wouldnt want to own one.

I have had 40+ phones over the past 4 years or so (its a disease i know) but I've reached the following conclusion- while Nokia might not necessarily be the best phone makers in the market, they sure as heck do a great job on their limited editions etc.

Regarding this phone features, right before it i had a N95 for 2 weeks- its a toy for heaven's sake. I felt like I was back in school, moving around with a flimsy plastic phone with everything but a kitchen sink. Personally fellas, if the phone has bluetooth, decent ringtone capabilities, crystal clear talk/reception and a robust user interface thats probably all you'll ever need. Add to that something as elegant/smart- why would anyone want more?

For all the enthusiasts that are into features/functions, you must admit, the 5.0 MP camera of the N95 is not like a normal digital camera's 5.0 MP, and wifi its neat, but not necessary. You really dont need internet access at your fingertips at all times.. =))

I recommend everyone buying this phone, trust me its worth it =))

does this phone has 128mb or 1gig internal memory? i'm just confused because some forum it says it has 1gig internal memory. Please anyone can confirm whats the truth. thanks in advance.

Why do Nokia announced this phone without any proper adveristment , i have just reasonly sold my Sirocco to got a LG Prada , if I know Nokia would bring such a beautiful phone , I would not mistaken to sell my sirocco and will get the beautiful Luna , although the LG Prada have expandable memory , but the bluetooth is totally crap , if people really want to buy a stylish phone , get the Sirocco or the 8600 Luna , because LG are bad

bought it a munth ago...and hey every one...its a big black shiny diamond....i feel different 4m ma frndz who got lgu830 and chocolate and even that lg shine...no phone can match the 8800 series....its more elegant,stylish,and bold....makes personality of the person holdin it....
