Flip Phones have better Cameras???!!! Each phone has its own camera - QCIF, VGA, SVGA, AND megapixel and the V3 HAS VGA and 8800 HAS SVGA (slightly better). Stupid Comment

i went on ebay and asked the seller for pics of the fone in the box, they declined.

To PhOeNiX
The Razr V3 is in a much higher class than the 8800. The V3 uses AIRCRAFT GRADE Aluminium and COPPER ALLOY chemically etched flat keypad. The 8800 just uses standard stainless steel from the 8850, 6170 - nothing special there then. Also the V3's camera is superior because all flip phones have superior cameras than that of their counterparts. The V3 weighs lighter, is SMALLER and SO RAZOR THIN and FLAT that you wouldnt even know it was in your pocket. The V3 is so superior in design, the 8800 looks like an ice-cream scoop at the bottom. The V3 is a Premium class phone with a high end image and supermodel looks. V3 gets my vote but at the end of the day its everyones choice what they want to go for.

Well im not being naive. I was curious as to whether the people saying they were selling the phones on ebay actually had access to them. It would be naive of me to buy the phone from ebay before finding out if they actually had it. I was just responding to peoples posts at to whether the people on ebay were telling the truth or not, and i do not think they are

Ive been trying to get hold of a someone selling this phone. Sounds like the people on ebay who i emailed were talking through their arses. None of them could actually send me a picture when i asked them to. They just went on about its features. Its not worth the risk. I will just wait for the official release. Very sexy phone

Someone said not to compare tihs phone with the V3...
("No one should compare this 8800 with the V3. This phone is in a totally much higher "CLASS"!!")
I agree with him but not for the reason he gave...
I agree bcoz the nokia has only 3hrs talktime (7hrs for V3) and it weighs 134g (95g for V3)...
Hope Nokia used a high "CLASS" stainless steel for the cover otherwise it may rust... ;p

this phone i think is very nice with the stainless steel and the scratch resistance glass, i think that you should give it a try. Oh by the way, a guy at the email address of weihawuk@mail.com is selling them cheap. Thats where i think im gonna get mine. At least think so. THAT WAS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT

I'm a big fan of the 8850, 8910i and as i've owned all these phones i can't wait for the 8800 to be released in the uk. It's a real prestige phone, worth every penny and if its as good as my old 8910i i'll be purchasing one as soon as its in store. It's a phone which gets people attention and everyone is going to want one. As with the older models they will be in much demand.

Nokia 8800:
Model looks good. Had a chance to hold this phone. It weights 135gms. pretty heavy but full steel. Looks great. It is a ball slide unlike the click and jump you see in the 8910i
A real premium phone from Nokia. Will cost too much, I guess
