I not like this phone as it reminds me of a samsung phone where the top slides up it should be the bottom like the rest of the 8000 series. Also i think nokia should re-release the nokia 8850 and call it nokia 8850i than nokia would pick up more sales as most of their new designs dont look good. And as for ebay buyers it could be a trap as its not offically out and I wouldnt want to buy something second hand I rather say i got it brand new in a respectable shop. I think that I will stick to my nokia 8910i for now.

Some are complaining about the lack of features, but that's never been what the 8xxx series has been about.

This phone looks like it'll be a winner, though I wished it looked more like the 8850 than the original 8800.

Nice design, but I like the 7 series better for a fashion phone. It's to simple. I hope the screen is scratch resistent.

actually .. the best looking phones were the 8890 and 8910 (color - unfortunately a two-band). Nokia wants a bigger screen, even on their top of the line phones. Really curious how much this is going to cost whether is't in Europe or here in the states. I'm buying mine in Europe .. but for those who are awaiting its release in the states .. it's probably going to be Cingular who will have it .. T Mobile got on the low end of the stick when it comes to high-end phones.

No one should compare this 8800 with the V3. This phone is in a totally much higher "CLASS"!!
My V3 is a crappy, lazy moving BIG phone......This 8800 is a delicate & precision tool!!

The best looking phone was the 8850. Shame that Nokia doesnt put in a color screen and GPRS
