i've had this phone for about a month, not impressed! it keeps going off n coming back on as it feels like! gotten so bad i've even switched phones, since it has become a nuisance..
do i have a virus or something?
pls someone tell me!

This is a fanstastic phone. Girls love it. I got it mine from www.mobile-world-inc.com for $455 and I'm very proud. This is the sexiest phone ever.

I have two Nokia 8800 and both of them have serius problems. They turn off as you speak (when fully charged)When i press the bottom arrow and it goes to the picture mode it gets blocked. I own a Vertu and it runs on a nokia program and I never had any problems. The thing is do we have to spend over 6000 euro to get a proper phone? Also before the Nokia 8800 I had the Motorola RAZ the silver and the black the same problems. Finaly I think we should not send the phones for repair I think that the Companies should fully refund their clients in 30 days if they have problems!

although their is a high demand for this phone every one i have spoken too has said that the battery life is rubbish and it is v low in functionality. done buy this phone get the w800i instead

i want to buy the nokia 88XX series phone, but why do some people say the 8801 is a cheaper less functional phone then the 8800 ? I would like to buy biy the 8801, but not after they said that….

So what's the difference between 8800 and 8801?
I thought the only difference was the band.
Can anyone tell me the difference?

huh?? 8801 has the same feature as the 8800 isnt it? the only diff. is the band 850 and 900mhz :)
so they have the same price :) more or less ;)

To the below, i am sure your phone was cheap because this is the page for the nokia 8800 not the 8801 - which is a cheaper less functional phone

i got my 8801 for a pretty cheap price...630 cnd....i dont think anyone out there can beat dat price, brand new unlocked...overall i say this phone is definetly the kind of cell phone i can ONLY see myself using. i love the desktop charger wif the blue lights..so nice.

I hate this phone, my money is spent just to buy a phone that has metal casing, Gonna change to a P910i, even though its consider bulky, but... its pretty cheap

Hi the only problem i had with this phone is that the price was to high. The phone has great features, but its a bit heavy and always needs to be cleaned for finger prints. i only used it fot a month then sold it to get the 6230i which is cheaper whith the same features but better camera and streaming.

the nokia 8801 feels and works great for me and definitely has the looks than any other phone.
does anyone know anything about the black verison of this phone, cuz i only see the stainless steel ones around.
