I have to admit it, it's a really cool phone..
But many important feature are missing..
No video call, no office, in fact they put the HSDPA connection but no office feature? I think most of people who uses the HSDPA connection on phone are business people..

I know this is a phone about style and fashion, but with the prices that we should pay, i think it is nice have some more extra feature..

I've had this phone for a while now and in all honesty it's an average phone in it does the job. As far as style (See above comments) I can't believe anyone would purchase a phone for that specific reason. This phone isn't stylish. It's a phone and that's it.

It is a little bit to expensive, thinking now that in my country is opening a new Nokia factory. Anyway i am a fan of 8000 series,I had 8300,8850,8800,the Scirroco and now i have the 8600 Luna.I am very pleased of all of them.

ha, ha... sry for laughing... but i really thing that gsm arena should make all people register and ask them "are you geeks?" in that case, phones like this, couldn't be visible to them! :)
i am a geek myself ;), but i would buy this phone rather than any other... why? it stylish, 1st quality, it has solid camera (as 6500, SE k800....) and its nokia. I had, 6 diferent nokias, 4 SE's, 1 motorola, 1HTC and now i'm buying a nokia again. If i need wireless, games... i simply use laptop. i had n 95 for a while, but it was big & ugly (and the girls didn't like it :)). 5mpix camera isn't better than 3,5 mpix at all (it just larger picture), and i allways perfer surfing on a big screen (pc)... so i really think and advise people who wan this phone to buy it. it's a high quality solid feture phone... it is a real "gucci, prada, cavalli, chanel, boss..." phone

I have had this phone a few weeks now and its pritty good! Few faults I have picks up on though... It has a light sensor which sometimes seems to glitch and when I am using the phone in the dark the keypad does not light up?, the light on the charger cannot be turned off?, you dont seem to be able to adjust the volume of the alarm its not like my old sirrocco the alarm gradually got louder this one starts on full volume which is loud on this phone! also would be cool if you could use the clock as your screen saver but you don't seem to be able to do this either if anyone can help me with these probs it would be good

I still Cannot get over how many of these thick people sit here and put time and time again this phones features are no good!!! Its not ment to be an N series or a lap top ##GO AWAY## and play with you hand held computers and go comment on your N series or whatever ugly plastic handheld lap top you have at the moment!! Its not hard to understnad why people buy this phone its really very simple! I am starting to think there is a few jealous people around.

for all of you who dont have this phone stop saying bad things about it. this phone is not about features if you are an enthusiast, its about the design and classiness of the phone.. im sorry to say this but you guys are just jealous because you aint got the dough to buy this phone. ive had 32 cell phones and i could say that the 88 series of nokia are the best phones and the e90 also

All you guys are missing the point. This ohine is not about features! It's about being seen. If you go out and get this it is for a bit of fun and you already have another few phones to use as well. Just buy it and stop going on about features. Who cares waht it cost or does! As long as you can make a call and send a text what more do you want.

In reference to an above comment, if you have to ask why you're buying this phone, you've already missed the point. Yes, there are plenty of phones for the same money, or even less that offer far more features. But they lack the style, the charm, and certainly the build quality of such a phone. After admiring the Nokia 8000 series phones for years, I finally took the plunge and bought the 8600 Luna, and having had it for six months now, I wouldn't trade it for anything other than the 8800 Arte.

Just got the phone a week ago, and it is Good! Its not a pda so it won't give you wireless lan or microsoft office. One might ask what the extra dough you paid for gets you. It gets you a beautiful phone made of metal that weighs its cost. The sliding mechanism is better than the siroccos. The attention it will draw is worth the entry price itself. Those side pointers aside, the most important thing is that you will love holding it everyday, and using it to your hearts content as the battery lasts forever compared to the sirocco. In conclusion this phone was made to be a looker with a user friendly interface, and luxurious refinements. It was never meant to be a PDA or Ipod killer.
