Hi ppl,
I have just bought this device and i would like to say that it is very nice. Or should i say very very very nice!!! I think all the nokia 8800 arte's are very nice in thier own way. They all have very high end materials on them so if you are going to buy one then i would say buy one that suits you! If you think the price is too much for the Gold Arte but you like it better than the other arte's you will be more happy in the long run if you save up and buy it. I love it and i am glad i have bought it. Over all i have all the arte range and they are all top device's.

can you please tell me what should come up when I enter *#0000# on the original Gold Arte, and if there are some things I should watch out for on the phone's general outside appereance or box-content? thank you! (have entered same question on several Nokia phones, please allow it, I'm not spamming) Thank you
And can you please tell me if the speaker is low-quality like on 8800 and sirocco where you practically don't hear the person you're talking to unless you're at a really quiet room?

this phone in malaysia will cost you merely MYR 6k = USD 2.4k...always be my dream phone..but the carbon arte attract me more

If you can't afford it, then don't buy it! This phone states a certain social/financial position, one that you don't have since you're worried about the price. I hate people who haven't eaten in 3 days but they go "here is my 8800 gold arte" X(

i have the same phone but not the gold one and i dont like it ,,,,and the specifications are the same except that this one is gold ,,,, and i think phones are not jewelry and the options are more important than the outside ,.so if u cant afford getting this phone ..u should not even care

I would like to buy the 8800gold arte but i don`t know if i buy the real one or i buy a copy coz nokia has alot of copy phones made in china....and in store is very expensive .. cant afford it ...alot of ppl can`t afford it

Absolute class act... I have the Nokia 8800 Arte (Black) and have no desire of selling it.... I m gonna buy this gold masterpiece that doubles up with my Black Arte for my weekends....
Businees days I m all tied up with my BB Storm, iPhone, E90 and P1i. 8800 Arte is just like a getaway from those heavy, busy working days with those chunks.

how come this stupid phone with no flash light and no shuter camera key nor a close up mode and no wifi and with a tiny 2" display and no video calling and no memory card no lens protection for the camera lens and a mediocre web browser and a stupid s40 software and after
all that it is much more expensive than the i900 omnia

I am user of Nokia 8 series & have been using all the ranges from the day this series was launched. Recently bought this one & would say that nothing comes closer to this mobile. Features.. It has almost everything in it. Looks quality... no comparison. Love it!
