urs, 16 Jul 2009phone look is very good but memory slot is not there that i... moreI have nokia 8800 arte and going to upgrade to arte gold. genuine 8800s dont have card slot, and if you are not happy with that you can buy ones with card slot that are made in china.

it is not just about the gold body and features it is about the quality tell me how long u can use a 6500 slide,e71 or e66 until the volume and 4way key besomes red and looks like an old phone I had one of all and I am telling you max 4 month but I have one first generation 8800 that I am using this device for more than 3 yrs and it does not have even a scratch and it is still attractive good voice and antenna quality

I can only imagine Nokia produced this phone as a joke in order to illustrate the dubious taste of some of its customers. Horrible!!

my brother has this phone, have to say....the features r not good but it feels gr8 to carry gold in the pocket where ever u go try it

lol. the point of this mobile is sheer and absolute indulgence. that is it. there is no reason to mock its specifications or features. sure its not advanced...but just look at how gorgeous it is. People dont insult a ferarri because its expensive, uncomfortable, noisy and looks good. its for those who want to make a statement and can afford it. same story here with this 8800. deal with it :)

I bought my golden arte from official nokia distributor and found the desktop cradle can't charge the phone, so I had to request the distributer to change it. Then I found that tap sensor triggers clock while playing music or video. All this makes me think that arte series were not tested well by nokia. If I knew these disadvantages in advance I'd never pay 1k euro for this phone.

There is no 8800 Arte Diamond (1.05k real diamondand platinum)listed here on gsm arena, it is been sold at a nokia certified retailer for 3k here in the UK
