hi ', i saw a picture of 8900 on the internet , the petty is the phone is not made in germany , its made in korea , and it look just like a twim of the cheap LG chocolate phone ,do any of you guys know when will nokia start selling the 8800e or the 8900 whatever they call it this days because i cant wait any longer .

Is the 8800 sirocco considerably bigger than the 8801? the dimension says the depth is bigger by 2mm but i have no clue how much bigger that is..

folks all of u interested to go for the phone ....it is defiantly class redefined .. the battery life is better than 8800 far more better than it.. the ringtone sound is great ... the camera takes prity cool pics ...
some minor but imp drawbacks ..........
needs attention in care the body is to sensitive for scratches .....
a bit overpriced.......

can kill anyone on first sight a lovable little thing.....
those having 8800 it is time 2 upgrade.......
and my personal advise 2 u all is consider 8600 as an option 2 i own all 3 of em ... 8600 is also a killer.........
hope now no1 has any questions left about this phone andyes they still have plz post them i will reply as soon as posible.

yup put the sirocco battery and ur battery prob willl be over... I had 8800 gold with cartier diamonds with same prob

can anybody tell me about da battery? is it like 8800? coz 8800 battery sucks it doest last more dan 12hours. i am thinkin of puttin sirroco's battery. what do u ppl suggest??

Had this phone for quite a while, it is still holding up well. Slide mechanism hasn't deteriorated at all, still the same solid metal feel every time I slide it.
The shiny metal bit doesn't scratch that easily either. The leather protector it comes with is the best phone protector I have ever used. Not one scratch on this baby.

My dad has the Gold Edition.. and it looks so SLICK man!
It's more luxurious than the iPhone, LG Prada, or even Samsung Giorgio Armani!!
If you're a pimp, and you like high-rolling cars, then this phone is definitely for you!
But I'm happy with my iPhone.. This is my father's phone anyway

sirocco is a luxury phone , i am using this phone when i took my luxury car and go to vist my frineds or when i am going to a party its great when you see the looking eyes on you ? this is what made sirocco for.and it is a good phone for calling too.

I absolutelty love the Nokia 8800 sirocco model because of the elegant look but I strongly feel that it is way too overpriced since it lacks very important features. I would be more keen to buy it if Nokia were to upgrade the features or software in the phone to match those of the current Technology. This is a timeless piece and strongly believe that it will do better in the market if it was upgraded internally and maintain the physical look.

Bling, Bling...! I have had the phone for six months and I love it. People always look at it twice and ask where they can get one. The anti-scratch sapphire glass has saved me a lot of times...wish i could say the same for the metal housing...a few scratches here and there, which come off with a good wipe. Things you need to be mindful of is, low battery life and not loud enough speaker. A lot of times have to put on loud speaker to clearly hear the call in public areas. If you after status and functionality...go for it!

i think it is one of the most amazing cells that i've ever seen in my whole life!i've searched alot about a good cell,e.g. N95 also N95 8GB! they have a lot of fasilities , but i think u dont buy a cel for mp3 or tking pcture.so i prefer you, Buy It

I have had this phone for about six months and I still love it. I can't say that I have ever felt that way about any other phone. And I have had many different phone over the years including the 8910i. I don't know why people complain about the battery, mine last for almost a week with regular calls. I make a point of charging it properly and so I don't have any issues with it.

U buy this phone because u love the looks and its exclusivity rather than function , it's a time less master piece so quit complaining about no memory card or picture quality is poor
