the phone itself is nothin special but jus the fact of having one is something else. ppl look twice at ur phone, im often asked wot type of phone it is and the big question how much! y do u need all these extras in a phone.. the more technology the more to go wrong right. keep it simple and pimp 10/10

as a user of the phone i think its killer! i no 3 ppl with this phone, the price is high for one reason "so ur notice if u have it". its seen in one of P Diddy film clips u need the cash or have u dodge ways if u want one of these guys. pimp is the only word and chicks luv it.. keep dreamin haters!!

i have the phone its crap i hate the thing its to heavy to hold and the buttons are to small to texts with the battery dies to quickly dont last a day

this phone is great.. doesn`t matter the money... i like it..the only bad think of it is that it hasn`t memory card..you`re right with the girls :))

What do you think looks better in design? the Nokia 8800 1st edition(silver) or the Sirocco Edition?
In my opinion the 8800(silver) 1st edition looks great :)

This phone is amazing i loved it since it came out in the market.. But i got scared since so many people say bad things about it but i didnt care ..
I got it 2 weeks agoo and so far its AMAZING and SO GOOD im in love with it and i dont think that i would Change it because the metal is amazing and the shape is HOT !! and thats my Dream Phone !! ;) so if u really want it then ignor the bad msgs about it And TRUST UR GUTS ;)

hmmm... let me tel..i hav used many nokia phones but this is little difference you see.compare to other phones in this there is no memo card.other than that the phone is cool.if you want to pick some chicks. take this out of your pocket.you wil get the result.

if u want to pick up chicks and have the looks this is the phone for all you high rollers no plastic crap all u can say is hot with sapphire screen and battery last longer than any other phone and espically way better than the n95 battery and the slim look not like the chuck shiet(n95)

Hi all, been reading all your comments re:Sirocco...
You know, Nokia limit the fuctions in purpose on the 8series phones...for one simple reason...if it has a massive spec camera,loads of GB and expandable memory etc etc then it would become 'common' this way Nokia limit the phone to have some of the features most people moan about hence keeping it exclusive...as for being common...it never will be...think about the 8850/8890 or the 8910i?? they were never common...and the 8800 series will also never be common...people just moan too much...if you want a mp3? buy an ipod...better than any phones mp3 capability.
The sirocco is specal to hold, it feels nice...yeh the ringtones are not all that....BUT they will only be on a Sirocco - no other phone...these little things make it stand out...for me personally...i loved the original 8800, still have it and sometimes swap from Sirocco....the original 8800 was 1mm thinner which if you hold the two the difference is apparent. As for the battery? well the Sirocco comes with the BP-6X battery which lasts longer than the BP-5X that came with the original 8800 - if you have the original 8800 then get the BP-6X battery - you will see a massive difference!
All in all...it's down to personal preference really...forget the cost of it...Nokia 8series phones have always been speacial....not loaded with massive fuctions...just the stuff you really need from a phone...if you like things that a little different,special to hold then get one...if not...well there is plenty out there to choose from...stay happy! :)

sirroco is very stylish fone but there is nothing new in this...all old functions like 8800 but price is very high

just got my new sirocco. excellent phone and looks very stylist. kicks butt on the plastic crap currently out there in the market which don't even last a year. phone does exactly what i need it to do send and receive calls, texts and pictures. don't understand why people go on about the technology, software music, camera etc etc on phones. simply a phone is a phone want to listen to music get an ipod want to take a picture get a digital camera. for those thinking about getting this phone i would recommend it.

please i am writing my opinions for all who imagine that nokia company produces such a mobile with this quality and big price and it is not good ?? sirocco is for those who looking for art in the design, sophistication and not for who can not appreciate the value .helloooo you can by the e65 or the n95 or e90 ,this phone is not for you.

i have a sirocco and there is a smell on phone like gunpowder. i think the smell come from the paint of faceplate.

The phone is absolute rubbish, im off to the repair shop today cos mine wont even turn on. looks stunning i will give it that, feels great, but the features are awful, the battery life is poor and i cant have a conversation on it without it cutting out. maybe mine is just faulty but rgardless the phone should be kept behind glass like an ornament not used.

Looks nice in the box and this is maybe the best place to keep it because as soon as you pick it up you leave unsightly finger prints all over it.Small keys that only ET could cope with and all in all nothing special apart from the build quality.Sell it on e bay to another sucker before the market is flooded with them.
