Move on mate, it's 2008. This is a classic because I happen to own one, but the NSeries current generation user interface and technology is far far far far superior than any of the vintage Nokia models.

Yep, this, the 8855, 8850 and the 6220 are amazing phones and are flawless.
      Nokia are stupid.
The new Nokia software is rubish. N-series is a waste.
It all went down hill after 2005.
Nokia should make archive models, instead of bringing crap phones like the 1100 out!

This is, without a doubt, the most well-designed phone Nokia has ever made. For me- primary, the phone is all about calls and messages, no more, no less. which this phone does just perfect. I don't need all this stuff which modern day phone contains so Nokia 8890 is a perfect option for me. wish they still made this. For me this phone is never too old, it totally rules. the design, the simplicity... everything. I love it

This phone was the most stylish phone when it came out and I think it still is. This phone was one of the first to use the slider type functionality. This phone is so rare to find, I wouldn't doubt to find this selling more than $200.

Probably the best phone I had possessed in my life...I missed this phone...(good old days)...This phone was so attractive by its killer look way back in 2000, I used to meet so much people in clubs and bars and restaurants...by there curiosity (due to that phone blue light maybe!

Definitely a hot item if they add in all the wizardry of todays phones. It has evergreen look to it. Wish someone could come up with the know how to change its software.

the difference is that 8890 is 900 and 1900 mhz and 8850 is 900 and 1800 mhz. the 8890 could be used in north america which uses 1900 mhz while the 8850 could be use in areas that use 1800 mhz like europe and/or austraila.

the difference is that,8890 has a retractable antenna so to sum it all up 8890 has better reception over 8850

I am really interested to get Nokia 8890 or 8850. But is discontinued in my country.Thought of getting it from eBay but I don't quite trust the quality.

Hopefully, Nokia will produce again a similar design of Nokia 8890 or 8850 with or without new features. It doesn't matter. It's the design not the features that attracts me :)
