The biggest drawback in the phone does not have inbuilt call recording facility, which is a big NO for me. Otherwise quite a good phone, but after sometime has charging port issues..

Boot it on safe mod and do a hard reset and your problem will be over.
Regularly clear the cache of quick step.

After some updates I can no longer find it.

Almost a year.... What a battery, what a beautiful screen, what a fast phone, what an elegant look, but the issue is when using whatsapl and want to record voice i must get it close to my mouth, from a distance voice is too low,, i get used to it seriously... But it's discontinued... Advice nothing like 6 and 7 series snapdragon,, any 8 serieseans heat... Its really fantastic the 710 snapdragon and batter for nokia 8.1

used it for a month and within that time i noticed very terrible lags when playing COD mobile and somtimes the touch doesn't even respond. Gets really hot around the rear camera region.
Generally my experiece with the phone was terrible... nokia budget phones are shit.
had to even return the 6.1 plus.

I have this phone for about a year and a half now and I can safely say that people should NEVER buy a Nokia phone. The budget phones are pure shit and this one has touch panel issues, leading to the touch screen to become either less responsive or unresponsive. The only way to solve it is to turn the screen off and back on using the power button. This problem occurs at random so it's not possible to reproduce it. Nokia's Repair Centre very rarely replaces the screen but in most cases replacing the screen won't fix it because it's a FIRMWARE issue! Nokia actually admits that the Novatek touch panels used for the Nokia 7 Plus are faulty but they won't do anything about it. That kinda shows their attitude towards fixing such hardware issues because it's cheaper to ignore it than to do something about it.

Also, I don't have a very pleasant experience with nokia 8.1, which you can read in another opinion I have posted. Coming to galaxy A51, the specs seems fine but I do recommend a detailed research before putting any money, though my experience with galaxy devices have been good. Used galaxy s8 earlier and also found their after sales service really good.

A little more than a year ago, I bought nokia 8.1 because of its pure android experience and fairly good SoC and camera. But since last 3-4 months, the phone is lagging quite frequently, sometimes it completely freezes for 10-15secs, has serious charging issues it doesn't charge even keeping it connected to the original charger and other branded ones. Also it takes now atleast 3-3.5hrs to full charge. The screen has some absurd white spots. Have tried full reset but didn't help a little. The after sales service is also bad, here in India (Delhi, to be precised) they have outsourced their services through some local small scale companies, which has contracts from other Chinese brands also and they provide service for all such brands from a single service center only and which impacts the service quality of all the brands. Now, seeing the market condition for nokia in India, I don't have much hope that the situation would improve in near future.
