Anonymous, 30 Mar 2020LOL for your comment. Nokia is born for stylish aesthetics.... moreSamsung is better than Nokia for sure. If Nokia have better in quality or other aspects from Samsung, their sales will not struggling like now days. The market share showing the truth, who's better they will make the peoples wanna spend their money for it.

Anonymous, 30 Mar 2020LOL for your comment. Nokia is born for stylish aesthetics.... moreNokia WAS a legend brand.

Today is a brand like ZTE, Alcatel, HTC, Motorola ... even Xiaomi, Honor or OnePlus have the same phones or better.

Carol, 28 Mar 2020i don't recall someone forcing you to buy it...drama queen much?I suppose so. Id like to see Nokia having a competitive price. If it was competitive I'd buy NOKIA rather than some other brand. But brand loyalty only goes so far.

My phone's soon to be replaced by my 6 year old LG G3, the best phone I ever had. But I want to switch to a 5G phone right away and I was doubting between a Samsung, Huawei and the Nokia 8.3 but I made up my mind and will definitely go for the Nokia. The Samsung is too expensive for my taste, the Huawei has no Google services which is a massive deal breaker and not sure about future updates and the Nokia 8.3 is all I am looking for in a phone which doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. With 5G I can be sure to use the device for another 6 years with moderate usage. My G3's battery is pretty much up now, need to charge it twice a day so it's time for a replacement. Hope to see this phone in the stores soon.

Nokia's competition has become brands like ZTE, specifically this ZTE device -> https://www.gsmarena.com/zte_axon_11_5g-10139.php is the new competition of this 8.3

Brands like Samsung, Apple or Huawei are already so far from Nokia, light-years away.

I'm glad to s... moreYes right bro these people don't understand cheap amoled are not real oled they are cheap in quality and more prone to burnin. My friend with amoled screen and samsung phone he went 3 times to repair his screen due to burnin.
Flagship amoled are different then the midranger one. Thats why Nokia's dedicated pureDisplay hardware with lcd is better then those cheap amoled.

When you view the entire video, you see that Nokia is really making a play with this phone for Enterprise customers with road warriors who travel to multiple countries, especially in EMEA, and smaller countries in APAC and CALA, where all the bands it covers will come in handy. Of course, it may not be so compelling to those in the USA and BRIC markets, where many don't venture out of large domestic territories, except on vacation.

You also see Nokia's Enterprise play in the overall emphasis on security and a commitment to monthly security updates. They may even make an attempt to provide Nokia branded Mobile Device Management tools with features such as Enterpise Wipe and a Enterprise App Store. That would steal revenue for Nokia from players such as AirWatch (VMware), MobileIron, etc.

Many individuals looking for a flagship may find the specs lacking; OTOH, someone who would normally buy a USD/EURO 300-350 phone may find value in making the leap to something they can keep for at least three years, if not more. My only disappointment is that for all the talk of future-proofing, there is no 802.11ax, or WiFi6.

HMD have fumbled this phone something terrible, it really needed to steal Mi9T/Lite sector business to stand a chance and it just won't do that. I doubt HMD is going to last another 12 months... but then again I said the same for Sony Mobile after the Z5.
