Hirsimaki, 28 Mar 2020I can't quite agree with your opinion. It is true that n... moreBrother this phone is not coming for competition or something or race it's global 5g smart phone in that price tag as a branded phone it's super deal if you cannot afford that then go behind Chinese cheap models everything cannot give cheap holding a Nokia branded phone there's prestige value that we can't get on Chinese piece shit. Yes brother there are problem sometime in Nokia its electronic device it's made by human not by nature even Samsung world number 1 brand has problems highest expensive device Galaxy fold went badly wrong but end the day they fix it so Nokia also just like today got a problem tommorow they can fix just like with Nokia only and only can compare like Samsung or Huawei or apple the can never give a global 5g smartphone in a 599 Euro price tag

It is true that no phone can't compete with its 5G capabilities, but the rest..

PureDisplay cannot compete with AMOLED on similarly priced phones even what kind of magic tricks it does.
Your opinion that SD765 is best in class? Yeah on a mid-range phone it's true, but this one is priced like flagship killer.

Carl Zeiss lens. Haven't seen any example pictures from its camera yet but if we look on past devices from last few years, Nokia that had Carl Zeiss lenses i wouldn't hope too much.
As they weren't quite at the same level as competition. Hope this one has better cameras.

Your quote as quantity over quality is partially true. Build quality is superior, but the software is not quite on the same level.
Like Nokia 9 (from which I'm writing at the moment) has some serious software problems. Same goes with other models, go and read some forums where people talk about their problems with phones and you understand what i mean. Of course every phobe has their faults but Nokia should really stood up with their software.

Nokia is truely a legend but there is only little in common with phones that made Nokia a legend decade ago. Still i really hope that HMD Global gets everything in shape so it could rise from oldschool ashes of Nokia. There's still some work to do.

My opinion about this phone is that its specs are great but the pricetag is sky high. Atleast 150€/$ cut from price and it would compete with others big time.

Could have been perfect with a
      telephoto camera
      High refresh rate
      IP68
      Stereo speakers
      OIS
      Slimmer bezels
And without that Nokia logo on the chin

Kind of overprice. LCD screen with no OIS. Not sure how this phone will survive with the competition from Oppo Reno3 series and Redmi K30 Pro series.

LCD with external fingerprinters is better, as you can cover up that sensor.

I hope Nokia will make a 8.3 5G variant with more user friendly size (something like 5.5") and weight (around 170g). Having used Oneplus 7T for a few months I know this 8.3 is really out of proportion (Samsung at least have smaller variant to 20 Ultra) and definitely puts me off. I'm still waiting for Nokia to make a flagship grade phone as alternative to Google Pixel, which I rely on.

600 euros? Well that's not so bad, I guess I can handle a phone being some 200 euros overpriced. I can't wait to throw 200 euros away!

As a Nokia user from 3315 upto now except for Xperia sola and lumia 920, 930 im bit dissappointed bout this phone.
Currently im using N6.1 and nokias have failed in user satisfaction. HMD started nicely but its falling apart now.

I was going to buy a 7.1 but after comparisn, i decided to get a Xiaomi 9T or Mi9 lite for similar price with better specs.
Same goes for this phone if i ever wanted to buy
