The next snapdragon isn't for another 4 years. 865 just came out this year and it takes 3-5 years for each one

Hahahahahahaha looks like this trash most likely won't have the Snapdragon 888. To quote XDA,
"Qualcomm also confirmed the names of 14 OEMs who will be launching Snapdragon 888-powered devices in the coming months. These include ASUS, Black Shark, Lenovo, LG, Meizu, Motorola, Nubia, realme, OnePlus, OPPO, Sharp, Vivo, Xiaomi, and ZTE."
Nokia isn't on that list. So they either aren't launching this anytime soon, or it's gonna have the 865.
Nokia, you failed again.

It's almost December and Nokia is still dead silent about this device. Something tells me it will not actually be released in 2020.

MATE 30 PRO, 17 Nov 2020Unreal phone.Unreal as in good? Or unreal as in unbelievably bad? Because this thing is gonna start shipping when the 875 has already been released, and right now it's rumored to have an 865.

NeonHD, 17 Nov 2020Seems that a lot of people here desire more from the design... moreCouldn't agree more.
Of course having OEM's creating their own versions of Android has made stock Android what it is today. We have to be honest about that. Google has been introducing solutions into its stock version that other OEM's already had a long time in their launchers so it's not all bad.
I wonder how far Apple would now have been with their OS should they have allowed other OEM's to build their versions of it.

atichko, 16 Nov 2020You're right. The design of the recent Nokia's is... moreSeems that a lot of people here desire more from the design, but to me it seems perfect. I much prefer a minimal no-frills design over some gaudy-looking colorful pattern you'd find on a typical Xiaomi.

You're right. The design of the recent Nokia's isn't anything to write home about. It's "déjà vue". Nothing that reminds us of the Nokia of old where there was more dare in terms of design and technical solutions. On the other hand this old "more dare" hasn't prevented Nokia to get bankrupt. I have used some recent Nokia's of new and I must say that one thing remained as of old, the building quality and the sense of sturdiness you get, even with cheep ones (except for the plastics that remain plastic). One other thing is that Nokia is the only brand that follow's quite strictly the Android One releases. Only few models are stuck with older versions of Android. Most of them are pretty reliable as well. I know many people complained about software issues but I've never experienced them. In short it's blend but good so there is an audience for this kind of approach.

Don't know if it's just me but I'm finding it really difficult about getting excited over Nokia releases. Their ranges always seem to be underwhelming in my opinion.
If they maybe went the route of Samsung and just offered something slightly less vanilla on their range or maybe reskinned Android 10 it might make it a bit easier to think "oh, a new Nokia, how nice"

SShreyas, 08 Nov 2020I don't think so. They'd rather wait for Chinese ... moreone of the Chinese brands is already released the under-display camera phone. and when I see the review by unboxing therapy, the quality of the photo is kinda nice but a bit blurry because of under-display effects. so you right, there's room to improve

Ilham163, 01 Nov 2020the rumor under-display camera it will be released on Nokia 10I don't think so. They'd rather wait for Chinese brands to introduce and master the technology. When it'll be a reliable option they'd consider using it.
It's not Nokia afterall, its HMD, how can they lead an innovative design???
