Hi to all! Hey.. Just wanna remind you of the price of this phone is just $79/60EUR.. Ok? Don't expect too much of this cheap phone. This is only basi and simple phones for simple and not techy people. Don't look for anything like the phone's very very slow, when in fact, can't you read that it only has 10MB internal? Guys, please! Stop complaining.. And please read comments first before you buy and complain and complain or refund your money. There are a lot of people like this. Plus the fact that this phone is not an android, so don't look for the speediness when it come to downloading apps and games. And also not an internet phone, that's why this is a bit slow in browsing. This phone is at a low price. SO DON'T EXPECT TOO MUCH! If you want a simple, basic and has dual-sim featured-phone, then buy this one. Hope you understand and read before judging.

the signal in sim b will be gone if you're engage in a call in sim a (it'll will fluctuate). i don't know much of x1-01.

opera mini won't work in this phone. only the internet and the ovi browser. you can't do multitasking, downloading while watching a video. you cannot also pause the downloading session, since the browser will be minimize, and the downloading prompt is starting will be on the screen.

nokia asha is better than c2-03 when it comes to built and performance.

phone book of asha is combined if you chose to see both of the 2 sim cards. it depends on your choice on where to save contacts. still not that sure if how many contacts it can store.

you can do marking in messaging for the deletion of texts. you can only delete messages one by one. or you can choose to delete it by conversation. by the way, it has threaded messaging. yes, it can play 240 x 320 resolution. photo warping is not available in this phone.

You have yo call your network provider to do the manual settings. because it depends on your network.

you can copy or make a backup for your messages to pc. just connect your phone (if you have usb cord) to the pc. you should've the nokia pc suite or the ovi suite. and you can now make back up for your phone memory (like messages, application, games that are installed in your phone). download ovi/nokia pc suite.

i have now my memory card. it doesn't affect the speedness of the phone whether you out mp3s, videos to your card, or even messages.

i tried to surf in this asha. it's slow! it pisses me. i tried to transfer the sim b (the one i'm using for browsing) to sim card slot a.
tip: if you want for a little faster connection, try putting the sim that you;ll be using for internet in the main sim card slot (inside of the phone). for better performance.

hey, once you inserted memory card, the camera save settings will be defaulted to mmc. but you can still choose to save in phone memory.

i'm amazed of the zooming capability of this phone. either you take a picture and you zoom first, or you'll take a look of a picture, and zoom it. still clear and bright. unlike other nokia phones. i gind it nice.

cute thing here is when you received a message for long time, that is still unread, the keypad is like breathing slowly 2 times. indicator that you have an unread text.

yes, you customize little things here. like to set wallpaper, theme and ringtone (tone is only default to one for the incoming message of both sim cards). i already made to replace my theme, and i find my phone cuter.

                these are my observations..
                here's the cons:
you won't be able to watch youtube, no video streaming. however, this phone is good for browsing, since it has simpler browser, easy to use. and also good at downloading games, apps, and themes. but it will take like 3-5mins. each. it gets me impatient since you cannot minimize the downloading prompt.

you cannot adjust the brightness of this phone. also you cannot time the keypad light.

overall, i don't have much complains about this phone, since it's only at a low price. but, it gives more than the money you spent. i must recommend this phone, if you're a simple and a little patient person too. if you want more games, apps to download, go for samsung galaxy y. but if you would like a phone that is easy to use, no lags, no hassles, and is cute, buy this phone.

i hope my feedback helps. post more questions. for more details. since, i tend to forget the other information sometimes comes in my mind. :)

hi all! i'm from philippines. just wanna give my experience, opinion and impression about this nokia phone. i bought this phone last jan. 10, in sm megamall nokia store at a price of P3,380 ($79 or 60 euros). color pearl white, and i bought hot pink jelly case, it's cute and eye-catchy. white and pink are perfect match! :)

first, i'll start with the built and design. hmm..i'm
impressed (again) what nokia offers for this low price of handset. i must say that my money is worth it. brilliant design (i've noticed few tiny glitters at the back of the phone). it's shimmering.. i think it's pretty in any different colors. it depends on your favorite color or lifestyle. for me, i find it stylish. light weight. a little harder to hold to, and a bigger size to fit my hand. Keypad is not plastic (believe me), those are a little rubberish. if you tried the nokia e6, that softness and smoothness. nokia c3 is harder than this one. the left silver button is options and the right one is delete, back or cancel (for those wondering what silver keys are for). good that there's shortcut key for messaging/social. the
end-call button is also the power key button when you hold down, it turn off/on. i find the space bar is too short (for me). i accidentally press other keys. still adapting with the keypad. sometimes my finger/s slips to other letters. but i know, in time, i'll perfect texting/chatting.
regarding to the mic (found in down of letter z button), i read one comment here that there's an echo of your voice when you have a call. yes, me, i also hear my voice echoeing (not too loud). i didn't doubt that it's a defect of my phone but another nokia effects here. for clearer conversation. for me, i find it good. nice. i can hear my friend in the other line loud and clear, the line is not choppy. here's the catch, you cannot be reached in your other number (sim b) if you're engage in a call in sim a. but for me, it doesn't matter. it often happens that my friends are calling in my both numbers. i don't think it should matter.. for my opinion.
side part of the phone, you'll find the sim 2 card slot for easy-swap ability. that can read the maximum of 5 sim cards. the dual sim works good. nothing major complaint (just the dual stand-by mode). but you can still receive sms both parties. just the call, you can't receive incoming calls at the same time. the dual sim ability is really an easy to learn. and no complications regarding if your replying to a message from sim b and you'll use your for sending is sim a. ok.. asha 200 is a dual sim capability unlike the asha 201. ok?

also you'll find the memory card slot in the right side, together with sim 2 slot. i bought mine without any free 2gb memory. read some comments here that they have theirs included in the pack. one thing here, no usb wire to connect to pc/laptop.. that makes the price cheap because of no mmc and usb wire.

the camera, with 2mp, no flash, still shot capability, is awesome than the old nokia phones before that has 2mp too. a good camera for the 2mp phone. trust me. but not good to use for dark places.

the speaker is loud. but not too loud as most people compared it with x1-01 and china phones.. it's enough too hear.. nice sounds. believe me..regarding the headset, mine is white since i bought the white one. i don't know if headset color matters with the color of the handset you'll choose.

battery is really good! i'll bow the this phone's Li-Ion 1430 mAh (BL-5J). mine, i charged my phone last jan. 10 (2days ago), the day i bought this. take note, i unplugged the charger already since i want to use my phone already. i didn't wait the battery to be fully charged. and until today, jan. 12, im' still using it with the same bars i had after the last time used my charger. with above average texting and gaming over this phone. the battery last long. nice!

radio is good. as i already said, speaker is loud to hear and soothing to the ears. you can switch either headset or speaker. also you can listen in background music/radio.

games, there are 4games, one is trial version. since i still don't have mem. card, my phone is running out of memory and perfoms a bit slower (but not too slow guys that you wanna throw this phone). you can install or download java games, s40 edition here. not bad.

you can also download themes and apps here. there are 5 themes, i think. i love to customize phones. i'll make mine prettier once i i have a chance to get memory card.

i will choose asha 200 over the c2-03 touch and type. c2-03 looks boring and old style. more expensive than than the asha 200. asha is more glamorous to look at. ur money is worth it with the style, easy-functions, friendly user capabilites. asha wins if dual sim features will be counted.

will still choose this phone over nokia c3(00) over the service it's giving. having a fast access for messaging/social, the keypad, and also the built.. asha again will win the comparison. (just don't talk about the wi-fi over the c3).

asha 200 again over the x2-01 if you'll compare their cameras. x2-01 is more expensive than this, i don't know why. x2-01 doesn't offer any unique feature. and x2-01 only has vga camera. that's why asha 200 will astound x2-01.

asha 200 has no wi-fi (wlan) and not a 3g phone. i won't complain without having the wi-fi with the phone's cheap price. for me, it's ok without having wlan. even though we have wi-fi, i'm not a type of the person that really (really) wants to surf the net in the phone. i prefer surfing and streaming youtube in my pc. guys, it really depends on your lifestyle if you'll still eager to pursue buying this.

you cannot choose particular tone for each other sim. only one tone covers all. mp3 as a tone, check. yes, you can have. tones are cute. but the alarm tone makes me more sleepy to hear. you can change those.

ok guys. if you have questions, just ask me. for now, here's my full overview about the physical appearance and basic specifications.

select all, copy and paste are present. still didn't try the music player since i still don't place any memory card in my phone. i'll get back to it for my next comment.

i'll post another for more complicated situations. you can ask more questions if you have in mind that i skipped to put here. that will help me observe more of this phone and utilize this asha 200 fully.

thank you for reading. hope it helps.

For 3,500 pesos, this phone is not bad. Especially in the Philippines market where the dual-sim phones are limited to Samsung, MyPhone and Torque phones.

But this is a pretty basic phone. So don't expect too much.

Small keys but manageable with decent rubber-type keys. The other functions are a bit confusing at first, but easy to get used to after awhile. Orange and white lights for the qwerty keys.

There is an echo when you call but it does not affect the conversation at all. It's still pretty clear.

Memory integration is great too. My only request is bigger internal memory. 10MB seems a bit low, in my opinion.

I like the sound of my speakers. It's definitely better quality compared to my Nokia C3.

Feels a bit big though compared to the Nokia C3 (I have small hands... I'm a girl)

Battery is amazing. It lasted me 3 days of constant texting and calling with both sim cards.

I love how it always asks me which sim to use so I really just have to select. (I may love it now, but it the future it might be annoying... we'll see)

Built-in ringtones not that great so best to get a memory card

never tried using the internet. no plans

camera and video is decent for a 2 megapixel cam. i'd have to say it's better than the nokia c3

Alarm clock doesn't go as loud as my nokia c3, which sucks but it's fine.

You can't adjust the screen layout as much (because the top part must be the signal of the two sims) it's fine.

You also can't adjust the sim manager key. It can't be replaced. Let function keys available compared to nokia c3

Conversation sometimes messes up who sends the text. But it was the same with my nokia c3.

                                        What else... that's it.

It's really just a basic phone. It's perfect for people like who just want to bring around one phone with two sims to simply call and text. that's it. Pretty good system to select which sim to use.

If you plan to do this to watch youtube or go on social networking sites... I suggest you increase your budget and select another phone :)

                                        cheers!
