I am experiencing some echo.. But seriously, I swear you guys that are still wondering, the echo effect isn't annoying. For me, it's not irritating nor a disappointment at all. Trust me. It's just for those people that expecting TOO MUCH of this phone. Remember, this model is at low price. Don't complain that much.

her product like as asha 200 is very good it has no echo sound while calling

I got this peace of crap on 15/1/2012 in bangalore as the from univercell initially i was look out for a dual sim samsung mobile but the salesman insisted me to buy nokia 200 as i required in white colour. After getting back to home i inserted the sim to make a call and to my shock my voice was echoing, after trying making several calls i got the same echo sound. Later i inserted other sim card but the voice was still echoing. I also found that the ringtone volume was very low. I felt cheated and next day i went back to univercell and shouted on the salesman and demanded for a refund of my money but instead the shameless creature denied to refund back or exchange and told me to go to nokia service centre.i shouted back just within a day why should i go there its none of my job . And i got frustated and took back the crap phone.left to my work.and gifted itto my office peon as it was his birthday. My final advise to all of u dont ever buy nokia phones as its not a trusted brand anymore. And never buy any mobiles from univercell.

how much contact & message can be stored in it ? can they be shifted to memory card plz reply than you in advance only who is using asho 200

Resetting the handset is not useful because it brings the handset to that status when it was first purchased and does not correct any flaw in hardware. this echo problem of nokia seems to be a hardware problem rather than the settings-related one.
Can this be an issue with a specific network provider?
Is there someone using Asha 200 but does not experience this Echo problem?

M Using this phone from last 10 days & its sound quality is too bad & third class,its have eco sound major problem which is not can b solved so please dont buy this phone ....nokia have broke my last 5 years trust ......

THE NOKIA ASHA 200, 17 Jan 2012hi all! i'm from philippines. just wanna give my experience... morehi..........i have a few questions about asha 200........i'm thinking of buying this asha 200 because i'm looking for dual sims hp since i had 2 phone numbers........right now, i'm using c2-03......i bought it last 5 month.....and now.....it begin to have a slightly problems.....i don't know what are the problems....sometimes i cannot open the message folder....it keep telling me the memory phone still not ready......and sometimes....i cannot make a call....it keep showing a padlock symbol....i try to look at the manuals but i can't find it......so....that's why i'm planning to switch to asha 200.......but no one really knows about this asha 200........is it better than c2-03?.....i am a simple person..... i don't need all that wi-fi apps or video calling stuff....is it the music player sound loud? and the loudspeaker? how about it's camera quality? can i install many games apps? and how about the overall quality about this asha 200? tq.

Sorry i dont own this phone planing to buy as i telling u people to try this and sure ll help all.EXPECTING UR FEEDBACK..

In order to resolve the concern we suggest you to try with an alternate SIM card. In case the concern persist then do the restore factory settings of your device. Before that kindly create a backup of data in your PC. Download Nokia Suite from below mentioned link:
http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/Nokia_Ovi_Suite_webinstaller_ALL.exe
Please follow below mentioned steps to take backup of your phone.
1. Connect your phone with PC via USB cable.
2. Run Nokia Suite Application.
3. Click on Tools.
4. Click on Backup.
6. Click on Next
6. Select Content for Backup.
7. Click on Start to perform Backup Operation.
To do restore factory settings kindly follow below mentioned steps:
Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings.
The default lock code of your device is 12345, if you have not changed it before.

Good for age above 40+ people ,because it is having good features just for 4400+500 (with 8 GB memory card ). And my father is working as teacher for his requirements it is good for youth it in not up to mark

Echo problem eat all the features of asha 200. very slow device ..... many questions for nokia . Is it really nokia device tell nokia tell .

Hi, i was very concious abt the device but after using of one day i think nokia is not making gud in dual technology. Asha 200 is so slow for net . u have no choice for the two diffrent ring tones for diffrent sims. battery time is not so smart . in short i m going to sale it .................

Bought nokia asha 200 pearly white Jan 13 and actually overall I find it worth much higher than the price you're paying for (remember the older phones without much functionalities but costs 4k and up).
Everything else with my asha 200 works fine with what I had expected but when it comes to texting, I had a little but irritating issue with sending a message using Sun sim. I thought it's just something to do with the signal because it will always say retry (message sending failed). But then I figured out a solution for it which was to add the message to archive then forward it to the same number I'm texting to, which by doing that will be sent successfully. It's just so irritating that I have to do it everytime the message will not be sent successfully. No matter how I retry, it will always fail but with my solution, it will be sent successfully. Anybody else experiencing the same issue with the Sun? I'm not sure if it happens with the other networks.

Dearhow to change memory in use form phone to memory card? where to find this option as normally on NOkia Sets its path is below
Select Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings> Other > Memory in use > Memory card (or Mass memory ).

Hi THE NOKIA ASHA 200 !!!
I have a question for you...is there any problem other than the low internal memory and echoing sound...and i dint get properly the echoing sound talks,u said that its a feature of the phone...why should dey give a feature which irritates the customer,can u tell me wat exactly dat was.can i download s40 apps on it...since 10 mb internal..i persnly dont think that it even can support the animated themes of s40...does it??? also plz tell me about the about the sound quality in comparison the other nokia phones...rest is perfect for me...i dnt lyk to surf on the phones wid a 2.4 inches screen...dual sim is gud...basically i lyk to customize my phone or i'l get bored within a week...i want a phone which is customizable can handle my 2 sims easily and should have a good music quality n camera n 1 thng more can i chat on facebook or other messenger like nimbuzz on it...i have read all ur review pages and ur ans is very imp for me cz m goin 4 it on 20th jan...plz reply my ques thanx in advance...
