One thing I don't like with this phone is its battery life. It sucks. A full charge will last only for a day. So, I have to have a habit of charging this phone every now and then.

Whatever you say, dude. As long as it is doing its job better than any phone in its class. You can't convince all people to dislike this phone. And in fact, the more you say negative things about this phone, more and more people are buying. So, keep up the good work, dude. Make us Nokia 300 owners proud. Hahahaha...

If you don't like it, then don't buy it. No one is forcing you. You have the freedom to choose your gadget like everyone else. The phone's features are very ordinary to a mid range phone. If you want high end phones go for iphone 4s or samsung galaxy note or sii. Or you can have Nokia N9 or Lumia 900. Certainly this phone is not a smartphone.
In its category, I like this phone better than any of sony ericsson's mid range phones. It's just a matter of taste.
One big advantage of Nokia phones over SE phones is that all Nokia phones are user friendly. Meaning very easy to use than SE phones. I use SE phones before and I can compare.
This phone asha 300, I agree with GSMARENA people. Its really the king of ordinary.

Nice simple phone to use, lacks microsoft exchange email support and wifi, but apart from that the experience this phone provides is certainly up there with alot of the smartphones on the market today.
A++ for a well balanced and priced touch screen phone.

Touchscreen can not work like Sony Ericsson, 310MB video can not play, camera has low resolution, I never buy this phone.

Pros- 1ghz as a complete waste, since s40 is midp device, and cant utilise any added clockspeed like smart phones..
Divx/xvid support upto nhd 360p
5mp sensor, same as x2.
Vga video recording
Usb on the go, if you buy the correct cable.
Cons-
Limited java size
Limited heap size
Lacks multitasking, though got some ram as it seems, making that too useless.
No music keys.
No open file system.
