I bought a new phone on 2/02/12. There are many problems. Back cover from top side is little bit loose and vibrate when calling. phone get heating while calling. I am getting the problem in receiving the call. Sometime the volumn is very high and sometime it is very low with in a call. I feel it is because of back cover is not properly feeted. This is not a good quality one....but optically looks good and handy look. but day today use can not recommond

Nokia 300 is a great phone for people moving to a touch phone from a traditional one with a keypad.
This has the best of both worlds - except a QWERTY keypad on the screen (this would have been a great phone if it had one).
Pros:-
Nokia quality, look and feel.
A seemingly trivial but important feature with Nokia phones is that the pin for the charger is the name across the low end/ high end phones - the advantage being you can get a charger anywhere!
Great screen resolution, keypads and decent touch (though it is resistive).
5MP camera with 4X zoom.
1 GHz - even though there is no GPU, not bad for this segment.
Cons:-
No QWERTY keppad on the screen.
No WIFI, GPS, maps.
Overall a great phone if you typically use the basic functions, like clicking good photos, and browse the net/ use email on the phone only once in a while.

JTH, 03 Feb 2012No WiFi ??????yeah dude, you wish, nokia only offers wifi to their not so affordable handsets with very poor specs, that's the reason why nokia is being left behind by other competitors no offense to nokia but that's the market shows,the only quality where nokia stands out is that their handsets are user friendly hope that they will combine this quality with a better os since processor is already given c'mon 1ghz.. hoping not to see another dual sim phone in the future and instead a competitive nokia

Star, 03 Feb 2012Asha 300 is good 1,but nokia has to focus on its sliding ... moreso you mean that though this phone has 1ghz processor still not smooth at all? nokia has elegant phones and very user friendly tools however i think they should consider changing their os to match the specs of their phone,

nokia asha 300 is a good budget phone.it looks great for me..but sometimes it have some problems with it touch screen and i cant set its security code.i've been using it for a month and im afraid this phone will not last for a long time..but,its still looks great and stylish for me..hope nokia will upgrade their phone quality after this.
