I find the battery draining very fast. Right after a full charge one bar will surely come down. Is this normal??? I do not put it to very heavy use. What do you think?

Aenem, 05 Nov 2012Can the Asha 311 open a pdf file or any other type of documenta 1000 times NO. theres a mobile pdf reader u can install frm mobile9.com but it wont open large pdf files. so its a total waste. wanna use office docu on mobile, buy s60/android

Most of read opinions are so funny here. 1st, their is always a slight difference in Nokia phones of d same model depending on location. Am from Nigeria. Don't expect d same features in India or any other place. That's why d guarantee differs. Now, Nokia asha 311 is a good one as far as am concerned here in Nigeria. U know what, always trY and check d firmware version. For example, asha 305, their is version 3.30 and 3.60. Go for 3.60, cos it runs smoothly and doesn't hang. I just bought one. So, make sure you go for what is best. Back to asha 311 I recommend it if U wanna buy. It's a good one compared with d price. Many people don't really know how to handle phones, and they ave little knowledge about what they handle, they re only blessed with money. Don't mind all those negative comments. It's good, but the version for this model Whatsapp hasn't a complete keyboard, you need put each word how in the old keyboard.

I only left it to do its own thing for one day - just to see what the damage would be. But this time I am buying for my girlfriend. Who will not do any of that, even if I show her how.

I like this phone a lot, but calling it a smartphone is just wrong. They are taking advantage of those people who hear the word used a lot but don't really know what its all about. Its really shameful of Nokia to employ that kind of false marketing. Even though there are no official rules about what makes a smartphone, the whole industry know that this DOES NOT QUALIFY as a smartphone.
So well done Nokia for making a great fone, but you REALLY SUCK for trying to trick people like that! SHAME ON YOU!
