Internet browsing is very fast on UC BROWSER.
I can read the text in the sunlight even the brightness of my phone I had kept is just 25% in order to control the battery backup.........::D:D

s many good points : nice design, long last battery back up, fast internet, good display color, supports many languages ect. .especially its cost is not too high. Its volume and brightness are adjustable & i can read message under sunlight. I hope that after upgrading phone s/w , i will get more apps :)

There is nothing special about this phone it is being over rated to attract buyers. it is just a feature phone with good battery for beginners who need a coloured screen phone. If Nokia 3310 had a coloured screen I would have preferred it to Asha 501. J. T.

lava n400 is better then ashs 501 and samsung star duos , s duos for app,net,battery backup.

This is hidden but "Asha platform" is Linux Meltemi so downgraded Linux MeeGo Harmattan to meet simple hardware requirements. At first look this device reminds the legendary Nokia N9. Seems this is the most comfortable for user mobile in current Nokia portfolio. And it is free from spyware scandale - I like my privacy. Asha is very nice smartphone in price below 100EUR, I like it.

Want to know the history of your previous month(s) of used data, sms, calls, etc. ?
Just open your "Counters" from the main menu, after that keep your finger in the middle of the screen and then drag(swipe) the screen to the right from the left and you will get the info of your previous month's used data, SMS and calls. You can get the info of any previous month.
