YouHST, 26 Jun 2013I aint that technical but i do understand that Its great NO... moreThis phone aint comparable to android unless its only judged for making calls and probly standby...its just a fancy looking phone with little features...nothing more...you'll be lucky its good to text on with that mini screen.

I know that you have not this phone as it is not release yet in India. I am asking you that have you any idea about its internet speed means you read anywhere about its speed. I am not so intelligent to understand the 85.6 kbps speed of NA 501 mentioned in the GSMArena. Is this speed is greater than the three Nokia mobiles which I mentioned below ?

the nokia asha 501's official announcement/unveiling was done on may 9th in new delhi, india & espoo, finland but strangely the phone was released in pakistan & thailand before india & finland!
wechat & ebuddy will come pre-installed on the asha 501. whatsapp too might come pre-installed but no confirmation on that yet!

avik, 26 Jun 2013does nok 501 supports android games.....plz tl me nd is it ... moreNokia Asha 501 support some of androids games some aren't.BTW Nokia had a great respons from Gameloft and EA for S40,their games were awsome and till now.They and other developer converting their apps and games for this new platform because Nokia'll produce more several model based on this combined OS.

Blaw blaw blaw blaw blaw it is very foolishness guys 501 not a smart fone because not support pdf files,low internal memory,very poor internal memory,not supported 3d,hd games,touch is slow,video supporting bad many etc.

The six changeable back covers of NOKIA ASHA 501 are not free.
I checked many websites and in one of them, I found that the back covers are not free. The price of changeable back covers of NOKIA ASHA 501 in INDIAN Rupees (INR) is in between Rs.610 and Rs.620. In USD, its price is in between $11.60 and $11.74.
