I Dont know when it will be released into the market but i just pre ordered it from ebay . The price listed is Rs 5950/- . The shipping is said to start from july 5th . You can avail Rs 500 Off if you use the discount coupons from various banks .

hate's off nokia, 18 Jun 2013I have used nokia mobiles before.It was fine in that time..... moreif you need nokia phones with high specs 5mp 4inc etc go get a lumia series eg 502. This is a feature phone if u must knw.

The next asha phone should come with 5MP with LED flash light, video 480p, 512 MB ROM 256 MB RAM,3.5 Inch Display 165 ppl pixel density,GPRS EDGE CLASS 33 and3G.(NOKIA BEST)

I have used nokia mobiles before.It was fine in that time...but nowadays nokia are manufacturing very low quality models.Nokia 501 comes with only 240x320 pxls in 3 inch screen ehich is very very poor display.you can check it out.this resolution is suitable for2.4 inch screen.
So i suggest u not to support this phone anymore.Nokia is cheating its customers....

Tushar, 18 Jun 2013Why it does not have 3G.Because, about 80% of people are using 2G network and the NOKIA COMPANY found it better to launch NOKIA ASHA 501 in 2G in order to decrease/control it's price. NOKIA ASHA 501 will available in 3G model by the Q3 of the year.
