i really like the design and the UI of the asha platform however, i just wished that Nokia applied this to be the next version of symbian, Imagine if nokia did it, it will have the best multi tasking phone with the best UI, and there will come developers for the apps..

I feel this whol thing is beginin to thin in, nokia will make softwar update availabl to previus ashas the 311 sports 1ghz it wud be a cream joke if manymen buy this love and an updat meets 311 especialy with al its specs. Long live smaterphone, meego, tizen, wp, the rest may hang.

Kenny, 12 May 2013what does "Multitouch Up to 2 fingers" mean? pls replyIt means that 3-finger multitouch isn't possible. But you can for example "pinch to zoom" with two fingers. The early resistive touch screens only supported 1 finger at a time.

Things are changing. For the last 5 years I've been using Nokias and Blackberry phones of the highest class. Now I have tablet for emails and browsing and need only a simple, sturdy and reliable phone for calls and messages (with low SAR).

Great job done by nokia, nokia asha 501 ui like grand child of meego, now im very happy to see n9 meego ui is back, i getting buy one in yellow, i think this this will be a hotcake soon in a international market, long live nokia.

My dilemma is choosing between Asha 510 & Asha 210. Cant figure out which one to buy. This seems like the guinea pig version of the Asha OS but the S40 doesn't offer much. This Asha OS may or may not have future potential... but there is no way of knowing at this point. So a little help ppl..... :)
