Please read this forum about its performance in internet, U can see lot of negative comments. 3g speed is pathetic only 384 kbps. it has written 384 kbps but actually it is not even 10kbps...U didn't see good phones that's why u r saying like this. Check out cedar having good 3g speed 7.2mbps....

this phone is too good as its price is counsider. It gives internet speed upto 25-30 kbps when i connect to computer.Check out other phones.I also have sony erriscon w8. But it gives maximum speed 30 kbps...then according to prise this phone is the best.show it at nokia care.

It has got all the latest features but there is a myth dat the 3g of this phone is not gud b't dat is a wrong one....

its a gr8 phone...got gr8 features..nd a gr8 software...but in many internet sites..it has been specified dat dis phone doesnt support video calling..but da fact is it is a budjet phones..and gives a lot with price..nd da next nokia phone supprtng video calling is x3-02..exactly 2x its price

C2-01 is not qualified to be part of nokia phoneline. It lack every bit of quality nokia used to deliver

V.balaji, 07 Nov 2011Apparently both cedar , c2 are good phones but it is better... more-my cedar and my x2 got same 2g data speeds and both are max 48kbps bandwidth unlike the class different, speed different as in samsung and nokia.
-java version is midp 2.1 in both phones. Just that gsmarena have'nt yet updated it. If doubtful, access cedar's filesys or firmware info files.
- downloads are available for all phones from all sites
- a lot of pre-loaded apps are there in cedar too.
- firmware can be updated in both and its not just one.
- 2mp camera got the clarity of 5250 and such, so which is better?
- what u think? Cedar doesnt got 3.5mm jack?
- we can add anything or everything as homescreen widget with a little files. Even set apps as wallpaper. (Corresponding file when fed into system)
- just read gsmarena review of c2-01 to know the 'magnificence' of its display. :-D
- multitasking in c2-01 (music player and opera) ? Thats not multitasking. Ok.
-rds stereo is in cedar too. Besides got stereo widening.
First atleast go check cedar or my review here, then argue please.

Your buddies cedar got software pblms?
So far cedar's is the most stable feature phone os i've ever encountered.
Nokia and samsung java got any minor issues as usage goes. Like restarts, hangs, corrupt messages. Any such thing. But my cedar even after six months of terrible, harsh, severly careless usage didnt got a single pblm both hardware and software.
And playing vga aint hardcore use. If some s60 phone or mid-levl smartphone send u a recorded or their resolution video, you got to connect to pc to play that, well we who own cedar dont. And its called useful one and not hardcore use.
And playing vga in qvga means its super-multiplied clarity. Due to higher n.o of accumulated pixels in the video than the display. Same effect as playing a 1080i video in a computer screen. Highly defined.
And cedar got hspa 3g with 7,2mbps where ase c2-01 got umts, deadslow and waste of 3g plan if activated.

Anyway not everyone was a hardcore user like you to worry about right from viewing angles to VGA(etc) video playback that too in a QVGA resolution screen.
I'm using this mobile for 6 months without any problem except restarting while applying themes and that too is very rare.
All the features specified here are working fine.
At the same time my close friend's cedar(bought 2months ago) was most of the times in service center owing to some software problems.
Mind one thing there more than specifications to go for a mobile.

i have purchased this phone and the camera is so good that u can even see the faces of people inside a running car which is at a distance of 20 feet...great phone ...use it.
