This mobile is ok for d money paid.. But d camera quality is not so gud.. Its only average..! Music quality is above average..
Coming to 3G its a waste of money..! It supports only UTMS network..:( no HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA.. The max speed is upto 384kbps only.., download speed wil become slow aftr 2months usage of tis phone.. So 3G internet packs hv to b used.. & the 3G packs cost more...!:(
if ur main use of the mobile s for txtng, networking, etc thn tis mobil is gud for u... But if ur lookin for a mobil which has vry fast internet & othr gud specs thn tis mobil is a waste for u.. So dont prefer tis mobil... Its a waste..!

Apparently both cedar , c2 are good phones but it is better to go with c2 because
-advance gprs class 32
-latest java version
-downloads from all third party sites
-pre loaded ovi apps
-firmware Update
-3.2mp camera
-3.5mm jack
-cedar has less homescreen widgets compared to c2
-better display
-multitasking can run 2 apps at a time
-rds stereo

NETWORK 3g-
c2- bandwidth 376kbps , no hsdpa, hsupa.
Cedar- bandwidth upto 7.2mbps HSDPA 7.2mbps, HSUPA 2.5mbps.
DISPLAY-
C2- 2.0" TFT , tilted to all sides and colors are mixed up. Poor side view.
Cedar- 2.2" TFT, Only one side mixes up colors, that too better than what happens in c2. Better side views.
SPEAKER Loud. (Music)
C2- 66.0db
Cedar- 62.8db (can be upgraded upto 68db changing audio driver)
SPEAKER clarity.
C2- poor clarity, too high distortion compared to other phones.
Cedar- above average quality, better than x2.
HEADSET
C2- above average loudness with below average quality. Headset supplied is poor and below 350rs
Cedar- excellent loudness with outstanding quality. Slightly better than x2.
Headset supplied is good and costs 890rs in market.

Cedar- qvga at 30fps mp4. Max bitrate betwen 1400-1600, everytime tested. (Bitrate, frame per sec...etc based on media player classic's readings)

C2- 3.2mp, 2048x1536 resolution images.
Cedar- 2mp 1600x1200 resolution images.

C2- below par quality and often blurry and absorb less colors compared to x2. And even lower when with cedar
Cedar- pretty decent sensor, color absorbing and clarity almost par with great 2mp's like 5233, 5250.

multitask is not there along with smartdial and various other goodies.
Display brightness cant be adjusted.

Multitask is available, minimise even 10+ apps and the phone continues running smooth.

Still java, and you can move .mp3 into music, .jpeg then to pictures..etc only. 'To unlock, enter code' feature isnt available
Can adjust brightness.
Can be modified in many ways using software just like using pc suite. Can upload new audio driver, camera driver, display driver,....
Change icons, install new computer fonts, softkeys with images..etc
Smart dial feature as advanced as in blackberry os.

BUILD-
C2- tough build, usual nokia standard.No shutter key
Cedar- tough build, rare for a sony. Dropped atleast 260+ times (lost count) and still no problem.No shutter key.
Vol keys double as next previous keys once playing music.

Any comment saying phone is nice, good, aweso... moreif one truly own c2-01, he will say all these(i do own it)
- self restarting (not even once)
- vga like camera (then you don`t even know how bad a vga camera really is. its not mindblowing but you cant really compare it to vga)
- opera showing cleared page due to low memory (maybe, didn`t happened to me yet)
- slowest 3g speed (1/4 seconds more its really lifechanging no?)
- poor display side view (who the @#$! looks at his pnone at an angle?)
- even low quality mp4 cannot be played (its a phone $%#@&ss not a video player)
- below average speaker (its a litle bit above average)
- faster battery drain in 3g (tell me wich pnone has a longer battery life in 3g? it will always be less)

how it overcome nokia c2-01?
what are all the additional and advanced options in nokia c2? what about its battery withstand time compared to nokia c2? specially i need 3g gprs, digital camera, dictionary (inbuild or downloaded applications) and most importantly applications like opera mini, nimbuzz, ucweb etc.. does it has inbuild dictionary? or will it support dictionary in the size of 1.5 mb? suggest valuable mobile for my money....!!

If you would like a self-restarting phone when trying to apply themes, go with c2-01.

i had the idea to buy this mobile... through ur all comments and conversations, now i am in confusion....
whether it is much better than nokia 2700c. for me 2700 is enough.. bt,i feel c2-01 chase 2700 bcoz, of its 3g gprs and memory card capacity... now tell me whether it is better than 2700 or not??? suggest good mobile with following features: 3g gprs, min 2 mp camera, and bar type model....
