hey guys..is nokia c5-00 hackable?...if it is..then where can i get the certificates from??....i had been facing problems in getting certs from cer.s603rd.cn and cer.opda.cn/en/....so can anyone tell me if there is any other way to get a cert??

Well I didn't find any amazing change in the upgrade 071.005. The good thing is that the handset still gets updates from Nokia.
Chat(IM) is the newly added application. Google Talk, MSN, Yahoo and ovi chat can be used. Adobe pdf is updated; but to me, it continues to be useless, not having the mobile view. IF 'fit screen' is selected, the text is too small to be read. IF zoomed, one has to scroll left-right-left-right to read line by line! No better in the landscape view too.
I use pdf+ which is much better than adobe pdf. It has the 'wrap' view which can be switched easily by # key, and keypad shortcuts make it a much user friendly app. And is free too. All you have to do is to get it signed to avoid certificate error.

In the new update, I find sound quality through headphones is changed in the 'bass direction'. Now with the bass-booster turned on, there is a more 'reverberation- style' effect. But what about the volume through phone speaker?
Those who updates straight from 031 or 032 definitely get the volume increased. But what about from 062? Is it an increase or decrease? I doubt the voulume is slightly decreased or atleast has no change.
Performance also doesn't seem to have changed much(?) But an advantage I got is an increase of abt 4MB in phone memory which is much needed in this phone.

What is the latest Software version (firmware) for Nokia C5? Has Nokia introduce new SW for this mobile phone? Please reply soon.

hey i have nokia c5 i used i for more than 8 months all the things went fine . I updated it regularly but last week onward the camera application is not working and when we open it . It automatically closes

if u can't update your phone to 071.005 just do one thing format the your phone by *#7370# default code is 12345 if u changed the code means use that.

It is the 7 number code that you see when you remove the battery. Even I have a C5 too but Ovi Suite still does not show any available update for my phone. BTW I am on v.62.001
