Anonymous, 21 Dec 2010c5 is just a great phone in 7-8k range.
i would pronounce ... moreSONY ZYLO - video recording is vga at 25 fps (frames per sec) , c5 is 15 fps.. ,
2.6 inc screen, autorotate, .flac high defenition audio play back , trackid , .... etc r some other features i find only in zylo and absent in c5 .
d only dmerit in
zylo's batterybackup.
doesnt last long to beat c5's ever rocking 640hr standby.
c5 is lower than zylo.
i strongly recomend zylo over c5.

c5 is just a great phone in 7-8k range.
i would pronounce sony zylo as the best.
afterall zylo is a walkman so music is superb.
speaker sound is way over c5 acc. to gsmarena and like c5 it got a new update which increases sound.got a larger display. media key turn to shutter key once camera is on. also support motiongames too... i say zylo is d winner

One of the best phone in 7-8 k range! As many have already mentioned, this phone gets more awesome after updates, before the updates there were some problems, after the recent update, you get better sound, faster processor, and emoticon (which i don't like for weird reason).
So can anyone help me with this? I want to disable emoticon support, how do i do that ? i prefer ":)" than a yellow smiling face, can anyone help? thanks in advance

i am using TATA DOCOMO INTERNET,its speed is only 35kbps in day& it is verry poor 10kbps in night. Any one suggest me which is best for internet in indian network.pleese..............!

hy i buy this phone 1 month ago.phone was good,software working good,camera qwality is nice in day & night.when i connect a phone to pc i got 460 kbps speed thats good.

I'm c5 owner..it has great extra long life battery, sharp camera, cool gps and social networking appliaction but only facebook is Preloaded..but rest u can download..internet is pretty cool and fast..looks of phone is average..but very strong built..keypads are smooth but gives a bit loose fit feel..only drawback of this phone is music player which is very poor with low and unclear sound out..and sometimes phone black out which is common with all smartphone..so nothing much to worry about this.. over all its great phone at price tag of rs 7750. GO FOR IT

My experience using this phone for some while adds some disappointing remarks to its overall quality. Two major cons. I have encountered are;
1- Low sound quality (Bad internal & external speaker)
2- Much slow start-up
besides above, still like its compact design, wider keypad buttons, stylish look & light weightiness...

I'm using this cellphone and its kick ass... It has amazing looks but can say key pad sucks if u consider lookwise.. But yeah its an amazing phone.. Slim and beautiful. The battery back up is really long. I use a lot amount of gprs and this phone still manages to stay back for may b 1 and half day.. Overall its worth for such an reasonable amount. Good work nokia :)

sid, 20 Dec 2010can any one tell how to update c5 volume as it is too low..... morefst go to the settings and there u will have an icon software update...with green color click it. that asks for an internet connection after download s/w the phone will restart dont worry about that but dont use while instalation is goin on thats it...

Performance is awesome, sound is loud enough after update to new firmware 061.005. Display is bright enough under sunlight, battery last to 4 day for normal use, keypad is wide enough, easy to type sms. What's more, its worth for money. With lower price, U get a smartphone. TQ Nokia for produce this C5.

janna, 21 Dec 2010to those who owns nokia c5 . is it worth buying .? many p... morewell dear if i tell you fact its not bad or not black out if you can compare this handset with N73 you will find C5 is far batter than N73 in features as well price N73 nearly 13000 & C5 is only 7800 you can save nearlly 5000/- with batter features its working fine its not slow if you eel so than just go to nokia service centre to get update the firmware once it'll updated you can feel that you have such a great device with you as well net surfing speed is very good i m using vodafone 2g not using even 3g still getting good speed on mobile nearly 60kbps its rocking can refere you to go with this handset in gray colour
