many people said that this phone blacks out and hangs . is it true .

has anyone experiencing the soft keys and the answer and end keys dettach easily. I think its not glued well since its metal. How can i replace it if it suddenly break off..

hi guys, such a great phone my c5 fall into water tank 2 hours it create keyped prob but after that it became ok. Sound was also ok

So I only have to disable the "use a-gps&qu... moreonce you get a initial fix, it will be just as fast and accurate as long as you don't lose the fix eg. when car
is stopped for a long time under a flyover or a tunnel.
Yes, voice navigation is quite accurate without a-gps. I
use it mostly without a-gps unless i'm in a hurry.

So I only have to disable the "use a-gps" option at OviMaps config, and then I'll get pure gps navigation, without internet connection.
The initial positioning with pure gps will be slower (2-5 minutes) than with a-gps (5-6 seconds). And after the initial positioning, will pure gps work as fast as with a-gps?
For example, I get into my car, run OviMaps, disable a-gps, enter a destination, wait for the initial positioning to finish, and then the via-voice-navigation will work without problems?
Sorry for so many questions, but I need to know things before buying the phone.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2010i bought C5 abt 8days ago.only once, it gt heated to abt 70... morehi,iam also getting almost same problem,when i connect my phone to pc ,it got switched off,then after pressing start button it wont start,i have to remove the battery ,i also updatded my handset to new firmware,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,plzzzz tell me what to do

hi guys.. this is for all those who are confused between nokia C5 and Nokia E63.
nokia launched E63 in december 2008. its been 2years now and they arew gonna stop this model with in no time, as their new model E73(looks exactly same as E63 with lot more options) is ready to hit the market.
and its expeted price in indian market is around 16k.
and C5 is a phone with out qwert keypad and wont be looking good enough but has got much better options and more features than E63.
just take compare in this website and compare it frnz.. dont just go for looks. if its so u will got sexy phones with damn good looks in samsung with out 3g and gprs speed in 4k..

the only thing i dont like about C5 is the plastic screen cover..easy to scratch,,
the keypad are good but there a space in between each key thats make a dust collector,

i bought C5 abt 8days ago.only once, it gt heated to abt 70degree celcius.it hd older version so i upgraded it to latest firmware 61.005. bt my phone wrks 2slow.also, if i switch it off, it doesnt start after pressing power button,each time i hv2remove&reinsert d battery
pls dont buy dis phone & waste money...instead buy sum oder gud ph!

to update the firmware, 1st u must download OVI suites on nokia website, after you install open ovi suite then plug your phone through USB,,, then after you add ur phone and sync to ovi. now you click ta tool button then choose software update then follow further instruction,,
its very simple but its hard to explain.
