Jeevan, 22 Oct 2010i bought a brand new nokia c5 on sept 26, 2010..everything ... moreHey you don't know how to use smartphone... i know the reson why the mobile is being switched off bcuz of the contacts, the contacts is containing virus as it is a symbian smartphone it would get virus very quicly so be aware of that and plz use good and registered antivirus and scan for viruses... and plzzz stop blaming NOKIA

To anyone who are facing serious problem with their C5, try to update to the latest firmware and test for a few days before sending it to Nokia care..

i had hang issues too...but after updating using the Nokia software updater everything went very smooth.

this phone hangs and goes off. all dealers also say there is no guarantee. very bad model

i bought a brand new nokia c5 on sept 26, 2010..everything seemed to work fine the first day...from second day onwards, my cellphone started switching off automatically and would not turn on. i would have to wait 10 to 15 mins by removing the battery and then try my luck again. on oct 3 my cellphone refused to start again. it was hardly one week old...i took it to nokia care. they said that this cell had to be sent to delhi for the repair and asked me to wait for 10 days..when i went to collect my cell...i asked what was the problem and the rep said that my cellphone has been replaced..the day i got my cell back...i was only trying to get all my contacts back from mmc...it switched off again....now when iam trying to turn it on...it is again not starting up... very unstable cellphone... iam not at all happy with this cellphone and with nokia...i have been using nokia for many years now..and this is what they give their customers...this phone really sucks big time.. people dont buy this cell or else ull end up visiting nokia care often...i have invested and wasted rs 7800 in this and have not been able to use it at all....

hi ppl..
im looking forward for giftin ma dad a handset..he is currently using some old nokia handset...my budhet is somwhere close to 4500 to maximum 5000..wanted to know should i go for c3 or if something else...please requier your sugggestions..as ma dad is going to use..and he is typicall indian dad who will use the same handset for a long time....waiting for your replys..thankzzz

the phone is superb...........
very fast and handy...
i have updated its firmware to the latest one but i have a problem that when i open its gallery>>images and videos>>all i see that many of the images are broken...... no thumbnail of them in it . is it a software problem???
how can i solve it ???
please suggest a good antivirus for my nokia c5..
