Nokia are still the number 1 mobile manufacturer in terms of sheer volume, so they have great purchasing power to negotiate on their component prices. Obviously, they would hope to that those who buy phones like the c5 will migrate to more expensive Nokia devices later on.

Hi, i am from india. Overall good phone.
Some positives are:
1. Very good internet speed.
2. Very good GPS.
3. Good Secondary Camera with VGA.
4. Good battery backup.
5. Fast processor 600MHz.
6. Slim design.
7. 2G memory card supplied with it.
8. 16M colour screen.
9. Soft keypad buttons with good spaces.
But some negatives are also:
1. Very poor sound both in speaker and headphone.
2. Small screen for internet purpose.
3. Average main camera.
4. Virus affected software like symbian
5. Data cable supplied is very short.
6. No QWERTY keyboard.
7. No touch screen.
But this is a good mobile under this price. No other mobile is available with this specification under this price. If any other is available in any company your comments are welcomed.

[deleted post]Nokia c5 is around 7,500 - 7,900 and nokia e63 is around 8,900 to 9,200. Which one is good It depends on you. But nokia e63 doesn't have front camera and nokia c5 have the front camera. Over all i think c5 better than e63.

I hv bought this phone yesterday.Wow...this phone superb gud...internet speed very quickly...camera very gud,design cool.sound not too bad...buy it guys *ThUMBS UP*

I have using this phone since last month when i bought it
the phone gets hanged many times even though there are no apps running in background.
i have tried upgrading it but it was no use. the gallery hangs too much it even takes more then 40 sec to open
besides hanging this phone is fine
i even had tried it to give to the nokia care they returned the phone saying that its working fine
why is nokia compromising its reputation by using cheap parts to make a phone.....

when listening to music thru headset, click options and set stereo widening On and you should be fine.
