I purchase Nokia C5 it is a very cool set with simple and classic, but there was some problem in the handset that it turns off automatically. then not tun on. after 12 hour when we turn it on then it start but again off after some time. I think there was some software problem in the set, so i suggest to Nokia that review the software of Nokia C5. so i suggest all my friends that donot purchase it until any software upgrade will come.

hi all,
As i have read the comment,it is found that the c5 model which is made in china is not reliable but made in hungary and finland maintains nokia quality.
Plz let me know how will i ensure that this mobile is not made in china
Is there in slip or specification in the mobile that describes about this.

this phone has some disepointing points because they needed to cut some things down oterwise it wouldnt be so cheap.think a liltle.if you want the best buy E72,N86,N97,N900,X6 these are the leading phones for any tipe of need.those phones cost at aroud 400 euros and this one is 150 so thats why it lacks the wifi and some other things.but its very good that for 150 euros you can get a reall smartphone.you even have multitasking wich you dont get in a iphone 4 wich costs 1000 euros

i made a experiment.i started as many aplications as the phnoe was capable to see how it goes.well on my N86 with 400 and something procesor and 128 ram was capable of working with 28 aplications and when i went trought the manu it was still moving at normall speed.so this C5 wich has a bigger procesor can easyli mach that

i have a nokia N86 wich has a 424 procesor and the same software.and it works very good.and i guess then that this one wich has 600 procesor is not slow.this is the thing with symbian, you dont need gigantic proceesor and a lot of ram to move fast.

nokia c5 i brot recently , i checked all the things , finally i am very disopointed , because camera clarity is very bad , slow responce , no camera dedicated key , and the sd card slat was very hard to well i am trying to remove the card

Chinese made , lol , it come to Chinese made , I do not see any different btw Hungary Noika and Chinese Nokia , it is a Nokia manufactured in China , not a Chinese phone , tech , assembly line , every think come from Nokia , China just provide the people to connect the part together .
And many people actually buy this phone all confirm this is a good one , so please stop asking "is it good" ....

After Consolidating of many people Comments I Found list Issues in C5:[ Currently I don't this mobile, Just I collected this Info to buy this model] If any of you having this model plzzzzzzz mail(eswaranand_a@dell.com) me with your phone number, so that I can call u and get some valuable inputs...
1. Ringer volume
2. Damn Slow
3. Takes time to restart and display the Screen
4. NO Wifi
5. Lack of auto focus
6. Back cover little loose
7. Has hang issues while rejecting an incoming call.
8. It’s nearly impossible to reach to the card and push to eject it. The slot is just too deep in the phone’s body. And to make matters worse,
the card refuses to go out even if you manage to push it.
It gets stuck in the slot and you need to scratch and pull hard to take it out.
9.The volume rocker is on the right too and not quite comfortable either.
It’s a bit too thin and quite stiff, lacking proper press feedback.
10. The camera lens has no protection against scratches
11. The player can be minimized to play in the background but you have no way of controlling it unless you go back to the app via the task manager.
12. With such a small screen though, video playback is not this phone's strongest suit. And to confirm that, you'll need to install a third-party player if you want some taste of DivX/XviD video.

i just bought this phone for 1 week, perfect phone, good quality camera,loud sounds, keypad comfortable for messaging except no wifi and a little delay for fast typing message..maybe it will be fixed on the next firmware..

Hi There ,
I've bought this phone .and keep this for 2 day because i couldnt believe that this phone has those bad specification:
1.(and great deal was) DISPLAY , the viewing angle was only 40' and in this 40' i cant see what was i think to see
2. camera was disgusting ,(as the same as display)
3.cover of display was some kind of plastic that sound dead to me
4.display was merged in body of phone
5.the quality of keyboard was the same kind of display (disgusting) but was big and comfortable
but some characters was good :
1.size of keyboard
2.the qaulity of batt. cover
3.batt. standby (just stand by not talk time)
and i get back the phone to store and replace it with a nokia n79(this is sooo good)
