hi everyone.. im thinkng of buyng this phone but the problem is there are soo many other choices which look more fancier than this.. i hav used the nokia 5800 for the past one year.. and i've loved the phone.. i mean, once its screen got broken.. and i repaired it.. then there was the problem of hanging all the time every time it wanted too.. another problem was of the sim cover coming off.. but apart from all of these i still love the phone despite of the crappy camera.. it depends on the person, how he/she can withstand the small but significant problems.. the solution for hanging is reset the phone along with the memory card.. but do remember, if u put the same files again in the memory card, it will work for a few days only and get hanged again.. i updated the 5800's software and i loved it.. its simply the best phone ever..! it doesnt break easily.. though it did when its screen broke.. but that was because i fell on it.. lol.
but now im confused, should i try somethng new but unpredictable like the samsung wave.. or stick with the old hanging nokia's..?

The battery life and RAM are very bad, make it easier to get hang..these things ruin all of the great fitures..too bad. i was using for only 1 month.

also ONLY BUY nokia C6 from Nokia PRIORITY CENTRE..... not from Any shop near buy ur home ...... we u want no prob..in ur phone..... as i dont hav

from last 1 week i m using this phone.....
these r my opinion regarding this phone..
1. sound => sound is average....not great n not bad but when u use head phone it is great.....
2.internet => suberb net speed.....n when u use BSNL 3G.....just mind blowing speed......
3.Camera=> camera is not good at all...in my opinion...lastly i was using Nokia N79(5 mp)...comparing with n79's quality... c6 quality is very bad
4. batery=> for me its OK.....i use C6 for web for atleast 5 hrs a day....n listen songs all day....battery lasts all day
but to use all day u should remove all widgets from home screen
the people saying hang problem....there is no problem for me till now..never hanged...i think if u hav u should change ur memory card from 2gb to 8 or 16 gb.... i changed from 2 to 16....n install apps o ur memory card only....

Or else If can wait for 6 more month u will get symbian ^ 3 with qwerty in reasonable price.

Hey bharat ke logon,
U can solve the problem of C6 by following simple steps:
1. ASAP upgrade to new firmware.
2.Remove the live widgets.
3. Turnoff the proximity sensor for auto turn off.
4. In application setting keep 'always ask' before connecting to internet .
5. Don't run many application due to 128 MB Ram.
6. Set ur brightness level to low at home & medium at outside.
7. Always check for new firmware.

Same with me...the phone hangs a lot....i do not know why this happens but it hangs and does not come back many times..u have the remove the battery and start again....the worst thing is that in this situation if somebody calls u..he can hear the ring but my side the phone remains dead.. quite harmful if u miss important calls...also after sending messges sometimes the phone does not shows the names of sender..instead it shows the numbers...Wot a pity...
I waited for this set since 6 months and one of the 1st buyers of this cell in Bangalore...and after that these things happening...probably i shud have looked for other options as Samsung wave n HTC wildfire...
Nokia if u see this..i can assure...u will not be in Indian markets..esp in the high end region...
Also if anybody gets the solution for this lemme know

NOKIA C-6 **WHAT A DISASTER**
Guys ! got this phone on October 11, 2010.
Must say phone looks stunning specially the black one.
However, all that glitters is not gold, and this is case with NOKIA C-6.
I purchased NOKIA C-6 on 15/Oct/2010 and even before 24 hrs could be completed, the software problems related with NOKIA C-6 is giving me NIGHTMARES !!!!
I went to the Dealer reporting the problem who simply restarted the phone and said my phone is fine now and in case of any further problems they advised me to go Nokia Care.
On encountering the same problem again, I went to Nokia Care, who updated the software and said my phone will not give me any further problems.
TRUST ME GUYS ON THIS :- Just walking out of Nokia Care barely five minutes had past and my PHONE GOT hanged.
I hope the Nokia officials read these reviews so as to precisely understand the the customer's misery with NOKIA C-6 and provide suitable software updates and also prevent the conversion of NOKIA LOVERS to ARDENT NOKIA HATERS globally.
NOKIA COMPANY - WHERE IS THE VALUE FOR MONEY BOSS !!!! You people are losng your reputation and that too very fast, please do something about it quick.
But first ! solve my problem or GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.

Hai all,
I am so eager to buy this phone because my budjet to buy a hone is suitable with its price. but when i read this opinions, everyone is saying that this phone is waste because of it is hanging. can we expect any up gradation of the software from nokia to get better performance. whether i have to buy this or is any other choice? please tell me about your experiences.
