I am using C6 for 3 days now and have not encountered any problems. However I have come across somethinf which I am not sure if is a problem or not. The hinge of my C6 is a bit noisy, specifically if you will press on the right bottom corner, just below the power end (red) key, then there is an audible click sound, can some existing users check and let me know if they can hear a similar sound....

I dunno all these problems/complains with regards to this phone. I have been using mine SINCE JULY 29, 2010 and HAVE NOT encountered any MAJOR flaws like the others claim. The only drawback of this phone for me is the battery life..

i was planning to buy nokia c6 after reading such problem i never buy it it seems wastage of money to me.thanks for the guys who use it and share their experience.i am very old user of nokia but not expecting these mistakes from them nokia means value for money to me but here it seems to be waste.

very bad phone hang & being switch off automatically at least 7 times in one day. i just took it on 08-10-2010.

its a very bogus set hang a lot do not buy or buy at your own risk...
the time u buy its start hanging....
your money all waste...

Hi .... I took this phone on 9th Oct. I was waiting for this phone almost last 5 months. And after such a long wait, initial expression of this phone is of mix type. Here are just primary pros and cons of this phone.
Pros : 1. Phone look stunningly good. I love its look. Mine is black model and really i like it a lot lot lot.
2. Hardware of phone look like very good and working fine. I checked many things like Wifi, sound quality, camera, network connection. Hardware wise all look good and works best. Except battery life.
Cons :
1. Major drawback of this phone is its Software ... Its hangs a lot. Folling time it got hanged when i used it.
1. Got hanged when i finished my call almost 3-4 times.
2. Got hanged when i played song and when it locked tried to unlock it.
3. Got hanged when i kept it untouch 1 time.
and many other time it got hanged.
I visited Nokia priority center for all this problem.
The guy suggested me following points.
1. Battery life, he said it will get improve slowly slowly, almost 7 complete cycle of fully charging and discharging.
2. For hang out problem he said, always go in "Show open Apps" options from option menu and try to closed open apps. It has less Ram so it may not response many times.
I am gonne follow all these steps, but regarding Sowtware i really feel Nokia has to Update its software as soon as possible. I am quite optimastice for its future software patches and stability of device.
(One good thing regarding hangs is its easy to remove its batter ... :D )

Dear all,
It is my suggestion to go for any other mobile rather then taking this phone. I have a terrible experience with any Nokia phone so far. I purchased the C6 on 6/Oct/10(for which I was waiting since June 10) on the same day the software stuck 6 times, every time I have to take the battery out and restart the same. second day I complained the same to the Nokia persons, after keeping the same for One day, they returned it to me stating phone is ok. And told, might be due to SIM(16kb). I replaced the SIM with 3G SIM. Just after two hrs, within my pocket and without doing anything the phone was hanged again. It was locked, screen lights were on. With the same condition I went to the Dealer. He too tried to operated the phone, even tried to shut down the same but was unable to respond and finally he took the battery out and restarted the phone. He kept the phone till this Monday for further checking. You all have noticed, since 6th Oct, only for one day the phone was with me and rest of the time they are trying to do R&D with it. Features are sharp, Net usage is superb, Key pad is easy to operate, the main problem is it hangs any time for eg. while taking a call, opening Net application, unlocking the phone, and above all just keeping in your pocket. Even when I kept it for charging, it stucked and upon taking out the charger pin from mobile jack the light at charging point in mobile remained on without any external supply. The company should sincerely needs to upgrade the software. Otherwise the most waited C6 will be a part of NOKIA museum... Once upon a time there a Nokia C6....
