I hate Nokia for the battery life about 300 hours,must be 30 days.

C6 costs 13K and Vivaz pro costs 25K..
For half the price, c6 is much better a phone than Vivaz pro..
Will buy it as soon as it is out..
Will be my first Nokia/Symbian phone..

It kills me to see that Nokia does not put letters on the number pad when dialing... did they forget that it can be usable sometimes (say calling '1-800-MY-APPLE') *AND* that it does not take an hour to implement?
At least DRAW the letters on the interface! Bastards.

where have you read or seen the review of nokia c6... at most i found a hands-on video on youtube that too in a different language
no one exactly knows when this phone will release. i have been to to nokia store like 3 times this month and they always say this phone will take another week.

ALTHOUGH CRITICS might be showing thumb down to this phone.
BUT i feel this phone is made for those who can not afford to have n97 mini or phone ranging at this level.
IT offers you everything that is
1.proper qwerty keyboard
2.widget a new option
3.(5 pixel cam) with smile & face detection
4.front cam .can also take pic with it
5.all of the above nokia phones are very user friendly as compared to lg,samsung..etc.
6.you can edit the main screen .there are lots of option.there is a 3d view from where you can keep those contacts that you wish to dial.you simply click on them.
7.AT THIS price which is around (13k-14k)..you can criticise it

For all those who comparing this phone with jet - Jet is almost out of market now but nokia is still struggling to release the phone with similar specs ( C6 - except QWERTY - which in my openion not required. But nokia phones are more user friendly and get more support

Shanu , 31 May 2010I think Samsung jet although not a smart phone but still wo... morei dont know abt other multimedia function in jet but nokia c6 can play xvid/divx through divx player....and it is sure that nokia provide better application then samsung........samsung is jst a crap dat doesnt hav any support for good application like nokia phones hav....and of course symbian is a grt OS dat is more faster even though it has less processor..

I think Samsung jet although not a smart phone but still would b better than c6 Jet is a complete multimedia phone with Route 66 Gps and its good for average users.
But if you want a more flexiblity and a smartphone n if u r ready to sacrifice the unique multimedia features on jet then go for c6
Advantages of jet over C6
1)Better in both speaker n headset sound quality
2)Best Camera with D1 n slow motion recording
3)800Mhz processor
4)XViD DiVX support
5)Route 66 navigation provides similar service as OVI maps
Disadv
1)No OS
2)No QWERTY keypad (physical)
3)Lil poor battery Life(but its acceptable for such high multimedia phones)

Niraj, 31 May 2010Do you know guys N97 mini is about twice fast then 5230, wh... moreAlso the Nokia 5235 have got double the NAND flash of 5800, 5230 etc.
These new devices like C6, 5235 should be significantly faster than preceders. 5235 is actually a faster than 5230, I just handed it for few hours. I beleive C6 should deliver better performance than N97.
