I think Samsung jet although not a smart phone but still would b better than c6 Jet is a complete multimedia phone with Route 66 Gps and its good for average users.

But if you want a more flexiblity and a smartphone n if u r ready to sacrifice the unique multimedia features on jet then go for c6

Advantages of jet over C6
1)Better in both speaker n headset sound quality
2)Best Camera with D1 n slow motion recording
3)800Mhz processor
4)XViD DiVX support
5)Route 66 navigation provides similar service as OVI maps
Disadv
1)No OS
2)No QWERTY keypad (physical)
3)Lil poor battery Life(but its acceptable for such high multimedia phones)

    These new devices like C6, 5235 should be significantly faster than preceders. 5235 is actually a faster than 5230, I just handed it for few hours. I beleive C6 should deliver better performance than N97.

        if this n0kia C6 m0bile are already available in the philippines this week i will buy it,but if n0t i will buy n5530,i cant hardly wait for this m0bile to be display in the market!

            Do you know guys N97 mini is about twice fast then 5230, why..? Because it have more NAND flash. C6 and N97 mini both have same NAND flash.. So you guys should know the results.. By the way jet is more fast, so if you want more fast phone then go for it. But fun..? You can also get far better ui on C6 via SPB mobile shell.. You can also get it for free.

              im not against nokia but the fact is dat when u compare samsung jet and nokia c6 ,,,,more or less both of them have the same features,,,but when it comes to FUN samsung takes the lead,,,,,if u r a business man and want a standard mobile u really need to have mobile like nokia,,,,it depends on ur need,,,if the mob. is 4 business purpose u got to take nokia ,,,if u want it for fun and entertainment then go for samsung,,

                Niraj, 30 May 2010C6 has more NAND memory compare to 5230. So obviously it wi... moreUser Interface becomes more fluid & faster if there is a speedy processor and more ram. But c6 lacks both(just like 5230). So its UI would be same like 5230 i.e. slower & sluggish.

                  The nokia c6 is gud in price nd specificatn...bt its vry bad in accessories...tht hav a poor low quality headset.....its a vry old mdl

I'm using 5230 and its really sluggish and i'm not a samsung guy, i never used a samsung fone in my entire life, you're right samsung is all crap. I am a nokia guy.

But I also find that Gsmarena posts too much favour in Samsung.. Sure jet has 3d menu but I have used this feature in my friend's lg phone and bored with it.. Yeah Jet also has some good features like time lapse recording, dolby surround sound etc. So in these terms Jet is better..

                                    -No Firmware Support
                                    -Battery last very short
                                    -Many Features like Sync Exchange dont work
                                    -Navigation is in compare to Ovi Maps really bad
                                    -Only Java No C++ support
                                    -Build Quality is cheapest plastics and the back cover is really a shame
                                    -No Appstore....
                                    -Most Java Apps dont work on Jet and the compatibility often is a fail
                                    -Instant Messaging like ebuddy is full of bugs
                                    -The Brwoser needs more than 10 sec for a web page ( depends from page )

                                    and i could give few more examples


                                    believe me the jet isnt a smartphone
                                    Touch Wiz isnt an OS its only a user interface

You Samsung guys are just jealous of Nokia. Your Samsung release hundreds of crap every year while Nokia only 20, but still Nokia is on top.
