SS, 03 Mar 2011Nokia c6-01 or Samsung Galaxy Ace... Give suggestions...pls.i am also confused..whether to buy C6-01 or galaxy ace...but after consideration i found following:
1. C6-01 has latest symbian os while ace as android 2.2 which is i think not upgradable to android 2.3 as ace has 800 mhz processor and for android 2.3 processor must be 1 ghz.
2. C6-01 has HD video recording while Ace does not have
3. C6-01 has fixed focus camera which is negative point as compared to Ace which has auto focus..
4. C6-01 has dual camera..kindly confirm tht whether u can make video calls on skype via c6-01...ace does not have secondary camera
One thing which i have noticed from different reviews and comparison..Symbians consume less battery than android..it also depends upon how many applications are running at the same time...it might be possible tht an app is consuming more power than the other app in the same mobile as it requires more RAM and processing power to run in the background...like playing HD videos, games..etc
in future the war will be around OS...symbian is already mature and has ruled the phones for decades..but now android is making waves...
Go for c6-01.. else..its ur luck..be happy..dont worry..

PRIME, 08 Mar 2011Just got this C6-01 2 days ago and had extensive and really... moredownload lock button from lagenda4046 or you can install smart settings. it has a dedicated lock switch. you may also use phone torch so you wouldn't need to use the lock switch to turn on the flashlight.

Just got this C6-01 2 days ago and had extensive and really positive good things to say about this. Actually, it's near perfect. Why? Coz of that impossibly, highly unusable lock switch. I don't wanna wreck this phone by doing something about it. Any solution for this??

i wait for this fone 2 b released in S.A the nokia c7 has been released but it almost the same size as the nokia n8 and only a R1000 less than n8 so i wait patiently.

With out knowing or using the mobile how can you guys are giving like this type of bad comments, If u are having any personal deals with particular phone manufactures u have to dealt personally, otherwise kindly avoid the blaming.

Piles of phones and softwares out there to pick, just mind yr wallet. so no need to fuck nokia or samsung lol. 4 me, The best phone so far is Nokia 1200. I dropped it from my car to the road n fall apart, picked up, reassembled, turned it on, cooly talked to my mom. However, i also have Nokia E5, great n love it. my next destination is HTC Desire Z. Move from one brand to another to get the fun of tech...each company test n toss its handset hundreds of time before selling to u, intent to target many level of consumers n to give them variety of choices. yr hated phone but still be the beloved to others. so not bad, lét's use it.
